Specific routine responsibilities:
•Receiving of purchase request (PR) from different departments
•Sending esquires / Request for Quotation (RFQ) to multiple suppliers
•Making comparison of quotations & negotiation with potential suppliers
•Making Purchase Orders and sending it to supplier after approval of LPO / PO
•Monitoring and follow-up with suppliers for timely delivery
•Receipt of Invoice and delivery note with supporting documents from warehouse
•Posting of Invoices in SAP and follow-up & co-ordination with accounts for payments
•Supplier performance monitoring & evaluation based on Quality, delivery & service
Scope / Area of Purchase
•Production & Refinery: All raw materials and chemicals for refinery department and packaging materials for production department.
•Maintenance & Engineering: Spare parts for machines, Consumables, Diesel for Boilers, Tyres, Annual maintenance contract (AMC) for machines, printing inks
•Capital Items: Machines & Equipments, Vehicles and other related equipments
