•Day to day planning and co-ordination of QA/QC activities.
•Co-ordination with client and contractors.
•Ensure for the usage of approved drawings with latest revisions at site prior to fabrication
•Monitoring, Daily Fit-up & Welding Activities
•Monitoring welding consumables storage, issuance and Baking oven records.
•Witness of NDT activities like PT, MT & UT
•Witness PMI & HT inspection
•Review of NDT reports.
•Monitoring pre-heat, inter pass temperature and post-heat treatment activities.
•Preparation of Daily welding Inspection reports
Project : KudamKulam Atomic power station Designation : QC Inspector Duration : Nov.2008 to Feb 2010 Nature of duties-
•Material receiving Inspection as per Project standards and specifications.
•Preparation/Maintaining of QA/QC documents such as Fabrication Procedure, Inspection Test Plan and Work Instruction.
•Involved in carrying out QC activities during Fabrication of Pipe lines and Structural.
•Inspection of Materials, association of Mill Certificates, Dimensional checks, Condition of
•Materials, Documenting and Reporting of Non-Conformity (if any) to Specifications.
•Coordinate with QA/QC Supervisor for some discrepancies and their solutions.
•Line checking and Punch listing as per Isometric and Layout drawings.
