Job Responsibilities
Responsible for on-site disassembly, inspection, reporting, cleaning, and reassembly of Blowmolding, Labeler, Filler, shrink and carton packaging, palletizer, air compressors, conveyors, Pumps and Valves.
Repair and recondition equipment components as per best maintenance practice and recommendations of OEM.
To carry out daily, weekly, monthly and yearly maintenance and overhauling of the machines.
Able to read schematics and diagrams related to the above machines.
Inspecting Equipment, structures or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problem or defects.
Servicing, repairing, adjusting and testing machines, devices, moving parts and equipment that operate primarily on the basis of mechanical principles.
Attend Machine breakdown in order to avoid production lose.
Checking machine parts and all safety devices and ensure machine functions are working properly in daily basis.
Carried out all preventive maintenance work as per schedule.
Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance.
Responding to breakdowns and attending repair procedures.
Diagnosing fault and resolve in a professional way.
Obtaining specialists components for all the machines.
Maintaining Spare parts and financial records.
Control Maintenance tools, stores and equipments.
Trouble shooting and Maintenance of all types of Air Compressors (AF Compressor, Siad Compressor, Atlas Copco Low Pressure Compressors).
Maintain all tools, tackles and testing instruments used for maintenance work in serviceable condition.
Critically watch job progress & methods, report, suggest improvements/simplification of work procedures.
Regularly monitor the condition of plant equipment, machinery, structure, facilities and report apparent defects & remedial measures to seniors in time.
Log, document the field inspection data and report of all work done & submit them in the prescribed formats, prepare daily report, overtime sheets & time sheets of hired technicians/helpers and submit.

Key Responsibilities as Mechanical Technician:
Responsible for the routine preventive and break down maintenance of mechanical plant, equipment and machines in the station.
Responsible for the overhaul of Centrifugal Pumps and Reciprocating Pumps.
Responsible for on-site disassembly, inspection, reporting, cleaning, and reassembly of pumps, Valves and other Static Equipment of Power and Desalination Plant.

Purchase requisition creation in SAP in coordination with user department as per the Service Level Agreement (SLA) / Key Performance Indicator (KPI).
Analysing the material requisition based on previous history, forecast analysis, reliability & availability requirement.
Price negotiation based on previous purchase & prevailing market rates.
Continuous follow-up on enquiry / purchase order issuance with various internal departments.
Evaluate bids and preparing recommendations based on commercial factors.
Maintain strong vendor relationship.
Maintain annual overhaul contracts requirement.
Maintain details of pending issues with regards to respective contract tenders and follow up with suppliers.

Working as Operation Supervisor and Quality Control Head I led a team of 8 members in a security enabled production environment specializing in Wrapping, Quality Control, Security Printing Quality Analysis.

Working as a mechanical pump technician in sai ganesh automotive oil centre my role was to take care of all maintenance activities for pumps and valves by carrying out daily, weekly and monthly maintenance.
