 Responsible for the day to day instrumentation & controls operation & maintenance whilst directing the activity of all maintenance personnel for the safe, efficient operation of the entire facility. Report to the Manager - Instrumentation & controls - operation & maintenance, and is responsible for scheduling and directing the activities of the Technicians. Coordinate the planning of Routine Maintenance and in Spare Parts. On call 24 hours / day. Skilled in the operation and maintenance and trouble-shooting of all the equipments so as to be able to direct emergency repairs of that equipment.
 Plan the entire preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance activities with complying maintenance policies & procedures.
 Gain knowledge of the local and applicable regulations especially those related to safety and environment and ensure that all operation & maintenance programs comply with all the applicable regulations.
 Build up the maintenance team through, participate in selecting the maintenance personnel, organize the team to maximize efficiency by updating the organization chart Provide each team member with clear objectives and responsibilities.
 Promote Safety culture in the maintenance team and provide the required training and required PPE and safety tools in order to ensure total safe maintenance activities.
 Gain full knowledge of the relevant contracts ensure that, the company does not miss any of its contractual obligations Contractors provide the agreed services
 Highlight any defects in the plant design or installation. Raise punch/ snag list and warranty claims to EPC contractor
 Propose modifications that can improve the Plant & ETS performance and availability or reduce operation and maintenance cost.
 Find the required subcontractors for the specialized maintenance activities
 Operate, Monitor & Update the Maximo (by IBM) and Customer Care & Billing “CC&B” (by Oracle) systems to ensure that, all preventive maintenance activities are programmed in the system All functional locations are identified and all the maintenance activities are routed through the system.
 Provide KPIs from the Maximo system in order to check efficiency and work load distribution among the teams.
 Provide the Continuous improvement Program for maintenance team through improve and update the maintenance procedure
 Update and organize maintenance manuals and drawings
 Check for training requirement of the team and arrange to provide the required training either in-house or by 3rd party certified trainers.
 Provide team building exercises and promote team work
 Carry-out annual assessment of each team member
 Represent the Operations & maintenance team: Participate in meetings
 Be the central communication focal point for the other teams like HR, Finance, Commercial Billing, Credit & Control, Administration team and top management
 Coordinate with the stores the inventory and the min-max (ROL-ROQ) limits of parts Order the required spare parts of the plant
 Planning & submission of yearly budget to order spare, tools etc. sufficient for one year requirements.
 Review & prepare technical evaluation of tender bids submitted by various customers.
 Coordinate the HR team requirements like holidays and other issues that may arise from the daily management of the team.

 Installation, testing and commissioning of industrial C&I and Electrical systems.
 Plan sequence of testing and calibration program according to O&M manual and specifications.
 Perform manual/automated tests of automotive system to discern component performance, efficiency, and durability. Analyze test data for automotive systems, subsystems, or component parts.
 Modify performance and operation of component parts and circuitry to specifications using test equipment and precision instruments. Ascertain reliability and safety of instrumentation and control systems.
 Provide start up and commissioning support. Service existing system and troubleshoot problems.
 Recommend product or component design improvements based on data and observations.
 Direct related modifications and preventive-corrective maintenance.
 Troubleshoot control devices and diagnose technical faults.
 Make repairs and replace components if necessary to improve technical performance.
 Maintain instrumentation inventory for prompt installation and commissioning to complete project.
 Directed team of 10 electrician & technicians in carrying out preventive-corrective maintenance of all systems and instruments, under the direct supervision of CSD Manager.
 Lead installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair and testing of all instruments including overall maintenance of customer’s plant’s automation system.
 Planned and ensured availability of spares through SAP.
