• Assist and advise project manager and team to the best use of project management disciplines and approach within a fast-paced, high tech environment.
• Maintain processes to ensure project management documentation, reports and plans are relevant accurate and complete.
• Assist in managing enterprise level resource allocation, adjustments based on emerging business or technical opportunities and challenges.
• Assist with establishing stakeholder management plan and implement the communication framework.
• Assist Project Superintendent/Project Manager for managing day to day project construction activities.
• Plan and execute project work and closely monitor the construction activities to meet the requirement.
• In cooperation with planner, develop, plan and update the project schedule, timelines and milestones using appropriate scheduling tools, to include all dependencies and identify critical path.
• Manage operational aspect of project activities/scope and liaise with all trade to resolve issues.
• Effectively identify project bottlenecks and resolve issues/conflicts within the project team.
• Ensure construction activities follows yard standard Inspection, Quality and Test Plan and monitor
safety aspect in work in line with HSE objective.
• Ensure in conjunction with the procurement supply chain group that all materials and equipment are procured and delivered in accordance with the project contract requirement.
• Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project and support employees and subcontractor, and influence them to take positive action and be accountable for their assigned areas of responsibilities.
• Arrange meetings, internal and external, as necessary to ensure the effective management of project.
• Ensure adequate resource allocation for assigned area/discipline of the project and track man-hours.
• Implement and manage changes to the project scope in order to achieve optimal project progress.
• Planning overall construction of Missile equipped Patrol Boats for UAE Navy worth Euro 160 million.
• Planning overall refit & conversion Gun & Mortar Patrol Boats for UAE Navy worth Euro 40 million.
• Prepare construction build strategy and baseline master schedule for client submission and execution.
• Develop master construction schedule by consolidating all work packages, work orders & jobs.
• Establish job-specific planning and scheduling requirements in conjunction with Project Manager.
• Review the work planning to ensure that activities are effectively planned, resourced and completed.
• Interface with clients, project team & sub-contractors to ensure project and site progress upto date.
• Updating project progress for each element of Project WBS at a detailed level in each project phase.
• Monitor project progress, advise actions and prepare S Curves from Actual Vs. Planned Progress.
• Prepare weekly & monthly reports for steel, mechanical, piping & electrical works and track man-hour.
• Assist the Project Manager with planning progress outputs and for project status presentations.
• EVM reporting and forecasting of monthly cash flow and run-outs projection for internal monitoring.
• Maintain and update master schedules and highlight areas of concern to top management.
• Overall construction planning of Hollowcore Precast Slab (HCS) factory worth $40 million.
• Detailed scheduling and progress monitoring of construction, equipments installation and MEP works.
• Preparation and distribution of weekly and monthly progress reports to the management for review.
• Coordination with contractors, consultants and equipments suppliers for day to day site activities.
• Coordination of weekly and monthly progress review meeting with client and Contractors.
• Overall planning for the construction of production facilities expansion project worth $ 320 million.
• Prepare project schedule and monitor w.r.t. time over-runs, resource deployment, cost and Quality.
• Participating in project review meetings for evaluating project progress & de-bottlenecking.
• Prepare compliance to ensure timely execution of projects with method statements etc.
• Man and Material Management with Quality, Time and Cost Control for ESP erection work,
• Maintenance of Vertical Roller Mill, Kiln, Cooler, ESP, Bag House, and Coal Mill.
• Maintenance of various material handling equipments e.g. Belt Conveyors, Screw Conveyors, Chain
Conveyors, Bucket Elevator, Air Slides, Apron Conveyor, etc.
• Teaches diploma courses of mechanical and automobile engineering.
