• Preparing the Concept Proposal (CP) and obtain the necessary endorsement from planning and
Capital Project Authority Team before proposing any projects inside the KOC.
• Proposing Projects inside KOC by conducting feasibility study, Site surveys, Stakeholder meetings,
Option ranking workshops, HSE studies, Concept selection/Statement of requirement and preparing
the Decision Support Packages (DSP) as per KOC Project Gate System (PGS) Process.
• Preparation of Project related HSE documents in coordination with HSE team.
• Preparing the detailed Cost estimate for the Project.
• Preparing the detailed Project Scope of works and finalizing it by conducting the Stakeholder
meeting.
• Preparing Capital Project Proposal (CPP) forms and submit to CPA team for approval.
• Conducting the Leadership Committee (LC) presentation of the proposed project.
• Reviewing Engineering and Design calculation documents related to all projects as per KOC
Standards and Recommended practice.
• Reviewing all the technical documents of the projects.
• Reviewing the Relay Coordination study of the Substations.

• Planning and scheduling of the maintenance activities of 11/3.3/0.440KV Substations, associated
electrical equipments in the process plant.

• HV/MV/LV Switchgears and Motors
• AC UPS, DC UPS, F & G UPS and E-SCADA Systems.

(Maintenance of 11/.433 KV Ring Main Substations under the contract no. MEW/MC/4273-2011/2012
with Ministry of Electricity and Water, Kuwait)
• Led the operation & maintenance of11/.433 KV Ring Main Substations which includes switching
operation of substation and maintenance of Distribution Transformers up to 1600KVA, circuit
breakers (VCB, OCB), Bus bars, protective relays, 11KV UG cables, Feeder pillars, Current
transformers, Battery systems& RMU. Led a team of 20 members to install and upgrade equipment
and for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of equipment; ensured documentation
for maintenance related items.

Managed the operations of Transmission substations and Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) equipment.
Controlling the PTW & LOA activities in the substation and reporting to the control center. Led the
analysis of control circuit diagrams and various protections schemes of power transformers, bus bars
and feeders.

Well-accustomed in operation and maintenance of EHT equipment such as Power Transformers, Current Transformers, Potential Transformers, Circuit Breakers (Vacuum Circuit Breakers and Minimum Oil Circuit Breakers) and various Control & Protection Devices. Led the preparation of drawing, control circuit wiring, operations of control panel and erection of EHT equipment and performed shutdown works of substation equipment at 66KV substation. Got authorization to issue permit to work on feeders up to 132 K V. Engaged in crisis management and took action as per the LD Centre.
