English Language Arts Coordinator and Teacher

Responsible for teaching English Language Arts (ELA) to middle school students, while also coordinating and supervising the ELA curriculum. This included planning and creating lesson plans, delivering lectures and activities, assessing student progress, and providing feedback to both students and parents. I also coordinated and supervised ELA related activities and events, such as literacy programs, book clubs, and other educational initiatives. I am knowledgeable in the subject matter and have managed to use my knowledge to create engaging, stimulating, and meaningful learning experiences for students. As a coordinator and teacher, I also had to communicate directly with students, parents, and the school administration in order to ensure the success of the program, while coordinating lessons with other subject teachers.
I was responsible for teaching and overseeing the IB Diploma Program's Theory of Knowledge course. My duties included designing and delivering lessons that introduce students to the different ways of knowing, as well as providing guidance on how to explore and reflect on the different knowledge claims presented in class. I was also responsible for assessing student work and providing feedback, as well as creating and managing assignments and assessments. Additionally, I organized and attended meetings with other teachers, parents, and administrators to discuss the course and its objectives. I also provided support and advice to fellow teachers who were teaching the TOK course. I wrote and submitted reports to the IB board in order to receive credit for the course.
As an Elementary ESL Teacher and Coordinator, I was responsible for teaching English as a Second Language to elementary aged children. I created and developed lesson plans tailored to the students needs and abilities, and was responsible for teaching language in a fun and engaging way. Additionally, I was responsible for coordinating and collaborating with other teachers, administrators, and parents in order to provide the best possible learning environment for the students. I was also responsible for assessing student progress and providing feedback to the students, parents, and administration on a regular basis.
