Responsible for organizing and maintaining a central facility for the purchase of all goods, services
• Setting goal and Monitor KPI of the Purchasing Department.
• Leading continuous process Improvements related to Supply Chain Management.
•Responsible for organizing and maintaining a central facility for the purchase of all goods, services and contracts on a best price / best quality basis. Ensuring the smooth supply of material, consumables and equipment to the company.
• Allocating resource to ensure all procurement activities are undertaken in a timely manner;
Duties:
• Responsible for purchasing from suppliers, warehousing / inventory management and timely delivery to customers (incl. transportation of materials from suppliers to warehouse)
• Collecting and approving / studying MRPs (Material Requirements Planning) from Sales departments.
• Consolidating the purchase orders from projects and retail to ensure best negotiated price from supplier.
• Sending Purchase Orders to suppliers which are located at different locations globally.
• Accountable for optimal Supply & Demand Planning.
• Working closely with the Sales departments to implement a forecasting mechanism (Sales Forecasting).
• Communicating actively with the Sales Departments to understand their needs and keep them updated on the status of the purchase orders.
• Managing the inventory levels at the warehouse (current warehouse is operated in an extreme manual manner).
• Implementing accurate reporting for inventory monitoring, e.g. ageing reports and FIFO check .
• Proper planning and implementing of WMS at the Warehouse site.
• Implementing a solid process for old inventory liquidation.
• Managing the delivery process of the materials to customers (production site) after liaising with Sales & Finance.
• Aligning all delivery matters with the Sales & Finance departments.
• Setting up & managing the supply chain processes, SLA’s, SOP’s, KPI’s, enhance the systems and optimizing the supply chain model.
• Reviewing all contracts/agreements to achieve ‘best price/best quality’ purchasing.
• Making recommendations & advising senior management on all purchasing issues.
• Maintaining records of supplier contracts, agreements, goods ordered received.
• Managing vendor relationships and building effective supply chain partnerships.
Research, plan, train, execute and facilitate operational improvement programs in order to create a culture of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing that leads to associate empowerment, elimination of waste, and KRA improvement (safety, quality, service, and cost).
• Lead change management process within the plant.
• Lead continuous improvement projects through cross-functional team facilitation and project management
• Use lean manufacturing tools (e.g., value stream mapping, Kaizen, 5S, Gemba walks, LMS, root cause problem solving) to identify and develop solutions that drive operational improvement
• Provide leadership by mentoring associates in the use of Lean tools, ensuring transfer of knowledge, and creating a culture of continuous improvement
• Collect and analyze data on plant processes, procedures, and performance using evaluation tools and make recommendations on improvements to operational leaders
• Taking production meeting to track the KPI.
• Conduct periodical shop audits to check the effectiveness of the new process in place.
• Facilitate the development of A3 project plans so that all aspects of the project scope are properly managed
• Track, monitor, and report regularly on project status; monitor product and process improvement milestones to ensure on-time completion and sustainability
• Analyze, develop, ratify, implement, and standardize manufacturing best practices across the network

Evaluate product design for manufacturability: participates in Product Concept Reviews, and participates in concept development process for Stabilizers, Reamers, Jars and Motors.
Prepare and analyze the Router, BOM & Cost of parts, after & before cost roll, and this would be reported to the management on a quarterly basis
Standardization of processes and Project implementation.
Assemble spreadsheets and charts for cost variance analysis
Analyze an operation or process to determine if it s more cost effective to make in-house or purchase outside.
Designs and develops tooling on manufacturing requirement, conducts trails for new tooling to reduce cycle times and keeps record for all tooling changes and updates the same in process sheet with revision history.
Monitors tool performance periodically, manages and reports tooling inventory (Value & QTY) on monthly basis and implements new ideas to delivering tools based on work order.
Calculates Standard Cost for a given part operation including: Set-up time, Run-time, Direct Labor and Indirect Labor
Functional understanding of carburization (Carbon Pack and Gas).
Functional understanding of Quenching: Polymer, Water. (N/A LAM)
Functional understanding of Induction Hardening.
Functional understanding of Annealing & Tempering.
Functional understanding of Hardness Testing: Rockwell and
Brinnell.
Awareness of local Heat Treatment specifications.
Operational understanding of the different grades of steel.
Expert in MRP, Time and Motion Study, JDE and Team Center Applications
Ensures that processes/ procedures needed to ensure a smooth running of the Integrated Management System (Quality, Health and Safety, Environment) are established, implemented, and maintained.
Reports to the Top Management on the performance of the Integrated Management System and identifies and recommends any needs for improvements.
Ensures that the Integrated Management System is communicated within the organization including the importance of customer requirements.
Coordinate on quality matters with project team, customers, suppliers and certification authority representatives.
In charge of the communication with the external auditors and of the renewal of ISO certification of the company.
Follows up within an agreed timescale, the implementation of any new procedures to determine their effectiveness.
Ensures that the emphasis of all the procedures is placed upon anticipation and prevention of problems rather than detection after occurrence.
Prepares the audit work program and organizes the plan between the General Manager and his subordinates taking into consideration the status and importance of the processes and areas to be audited, as well as the results of previous audits.
Defines the audit criteria, scope and frequency and methods of audits. Performs and leads the internal audits on the various departments.
Draws the attention of the authorized person to the deficiencies and ensures effective dealing with and settlement of each case.
Follows up with the different departments to ensure that action has been taken to correct the raised non-conformities and reports the results to top management.
Reports to Top Management the results of an audit and all unsolved discrepancies.
Evaluates and analyzes the results of an audit before reporting.
Review tender and contract's scope of work in regards to QA/QC.
Ensure the project specific QA / QC documents are prepared in-line with project specification and other applicable Codes/Standard.
Prepare Project Quality Plan (PQP), Quality System procedures, Quality Control Plan (QCP) Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) in accordance with the applicable quality system standards and or Contractual specification requirements. Make site visit as & when required and resolve the technical issues with Client QC representative. Analyze the training requirement of each project employees.
Administration Department Acting Manager
Manages the operations of all staff members in the administration department as per company’s organizational chart.
Ensure that all company documentation including certifications, registrations, licenses are renewed and up-to-date.
Arranges all company insurance policies and follow ups claims until a settlement is made.
Ensures that health insurances and medical cards for all working staff are issued as per the regulatory requirements annually.
Maintains up-to-date brochures and other business development materials and controls the distribution of these documents.
Ensures that office equipment, computers and software, stationary and other suppliers are provided and well maintained. Ensures that the waste and misuse of office equipment and supplies is kept to minimum.
Initiates, facilitates and implements the continuous improvement of the department’s processes and procedures in order to improve its performance.

Controls the preparation and issuance of Work Standards.
Maintains the safekeeping of documents such as mold drawings, inspection sheets, etc.

Immediately report unsafe conditions, unsafe practices, unsafe behavior, near miss situations,
incidents, accidents and emergencies to the concerned superiors and/ or sections.
To make suggestions for correction, elimination or reduction of work place hazards.
Responsible in the control of suppliers and cost analysis of the mold parts.
Parts Making Planner
In-Charge in the overall planning of Parts Making Activities.
Arranges the sequence and timing of Machine jobs based on “Mold Making Plan”
Prepares and Issues Daily Machine Schedule/work load.
Prepares, updates and revises the Daily Machine Schedule.
Prepares, updates and revises the Mold Making Plan.
Coordinates with other sections regarding Fabrication Requests (ex. Jigs, Machine Parts).
Guides and assists Parts Making Group in accomplishing the jobs to achieve daily target and parts
finish on its promised time.
CNC Machine Specialist
Fabricate mold and die parts and components using the assigned/designated machines.
Update activity schedule and machine running time.
Fills-up daily reports related to job such as Job Ticket and Mold Process Sheet.
Conducts in-process inspection of fabricated mold and die parts and components.
Conduct daily checking of the machine, tools and jigs.
Responsible in the application of preventive and corrective maintenance of the assigned machine.
Troubleshoots minor problems of machine and coordinate problems to superior.
Prepares requests for machine accessory requirements
Prepares machine trouble report and parts making related reports such as Failure Cost.
Prepares requests for machine supplies, consumables and tools.
To work in accordance with all EPPI safety practices and procedures.
