•Preparing and reviewing all payments for Consultants and Contracts to ascertain quality control before collecting the required signatures. Reconciling payments ensuring payments are within Contract guidelines and budgets

•Serving as back up for the Center Coordinator and as such act as administrative liaison, providing support for daily maintenance of office, administrative databases, filing, copying, stationery and other office tasks

•As back up, receiving and screening visitors / telephone calls, preparing travel requests, confirming travel arrangements for conferences and business trips and visa requirements for visitors and Center travelers

•Compiling expense reports and processing visitor reimbursements

•Providing information, internet research, handling issues that require sensitivity, using sound independent judgment and interpreting policies, rules and procedures accordingly

•Responsible for preparation and processing of Contracts for Collaborative Research projects

The key owner and administrator of the WDRC SharePoint team site, developing the site, libraries, pages, meeting with the team and discussing needs and how we foresee utilizing it for the Center and then putting these plans into practice on the site

Author of the training handbook for 100 Faculty, Post Docs, Researchers and PhD students in reimbursements and another also regular presentations to refresh incoming people on policy and procedure of reimbursements to decrease the possibility error.

Author of Procedure Manual for Executive Secretary for the WDRC

Member of the Management team for the Central Administration SharePoint site for all Administration personnel in KAUST.

Member of the HR Learning and Development group taking part in developing training and developing of our Executive Secretaries and Administrative assistants in KAUST.
