Project Description:
Located in Al Rai district, The Avenues project is the largest and most prestigious retail project in Kuwait and one of the most renowned shopping destinations in the region with over 850 stores and a parking capacity accommodating over 8500 vehicles. With 3 colossal phases already open to public, Phase 4/4B extends the collaboration between Gensler and Pace, to design an additional floor area of 222, 000 sqm. The client envisions the project to be a place where elegance and grandeur come together to offer elite brand names, entertainment facilities, restaurants and cafes. This has indeed come to fruition in phases 1, 2 and 3, phase 4 will comprise luxury retail, hospitality, public areas and car park. The Avenues blends tradition and modernity; the innovative architecture and retail concepts of open streets - set under an ETFE roof - has established a new concept in retail design in the Arab world. Numerous environmental studies have been carried out during the design such as traffic and noise impact, energy modeling and wind tunnel modeling. These studies improved vehicular access, conserved energy, improved interior environments and had more efficient use of water and other services. LED lighting reduces heat emissions and offers low energy control. Materials were sourced from local sustainable suppliers wherever possible to reduce the overall carbon footprint of the building.

Responsible for quality assurance & quality control at the project site and report to the QA/QC Manager in the issues related to nonconformance & deficiencies in the quality management process at the site. Assist the QA/QC Manager in overall quality control of the site, provide advises & suggestion to improve quality control at construction site & assist project manager to achieve the target with respect to quality issues.
Assist the QA/QC Manager in preparation of all related quality documents such as ITPs & Method Statements.
Coordination & direct supervision on all activities related to laboratories & field tests.
Conduct quality awareness meetings & inductions for project engineers, site engineers & other construction staffs.
To prepare all documents related to inspection & attend all inspection for different individual activities of the site & ensure that it is as per latest approved drawings.
Full supervision of concreting activity, internal inspection for all activities on the site.
Carryout all inspection with main contractor & client and get the approval.
Follow up with the Handing Over procedure & requirements with the client to get the Acceptance certificate.

Project Description : B+G+5 with total buildup area is 180000 Square Feet.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Direct supervision, monitoring & execution of all construction site activities as per latest approved drawings ensuring all quality & safety requirements. Inspection & checking reinforcement steel for all concrete works. Coordination with project engineer regarding the progress of works at site. Preparing daily/weekly progress reports. Discussing & managing with the project engineer related to manpower & equipment on daily basis. Supervision & coordination with different subcontractors & supplier, Preparation of BBS & Quantity Surveying. Checking delivered materials on site & making sure that it is matching with project specification.
Kakkad Power House Seethathode
Duties & Responsibilities during Training: Supervision, monitoring & execution of all construction site activities. Preparation of BBS. Filling of Pour Card Preliminary Design & Analysis of building using Staad Pro. Calculation of bending moment & shear force for different members of the structure using Limit State Method and cross checking with the Staad output.
Project during College Curriculum:
•Major project in BE : Design and analysis of church building
(Worked on a project of Design and Analysis of Multi-storied Church Building;B+ G+1 (manually as well as using STAAD Pro); under the supervision of Professor Stephen Iruthya Raj & Dr.Kavipriya)

Plan and review engineering activity, provide support on technical issues, establish measure for process performance.

•Scheduling of manpower, material, equipment & activities for actual daily needs on construction sites.
•Execution of project with Quality Assurance and Commitments. Internal Quality Audit Training, verifying and preparing the Quality manuals, ITPs, Quality procedures.
•Assist the QA/QC Manager in overall quality control of the site, provide advises & suggestion to improve quality control at construction site & assist project manager to achieve the target with respect to quality issues of standard codes ASTM & ACI & ISO & BSI
•Overall supervision on all sites activities to ensure that work is completed in accordance with the contract specifications, agreed procedure, method statements & client satisfaction.
•Preparation of all documents related to inspections & attend inspections with the client for all activities of the site & ensure that it is as per latest approved drawings and get approval.
