Electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, repair of light and heavy steel plant machineries like shearing, bending, slitting, tube mill, powder coating, shot blasting and press machines, PLC, Servo drives, VFD drives, Robotics and High voltage circuits etc Conducting preventive maintenance, machine monitoring and maintaining all records. Also maintenance of all utility machinery like air compressor, dryer, chiller etc

Job responsibility includes complete electrical control, monitoring, maintenance, overhaul, installation and repair of the electrical in the whole plant and its two high speed 24 hrs running production lines consisting of a number of automated heavy electrical machineries connected, monitored and controlled by individual PLC’s (mainly Allen Bradley PLC) and these PLC’s are connected to sub system PLC’s through a Data Highway communication network implementing a automated controlled process. These machineries all are running on 3 phase 460v supply and there are DC drives for those running on DC voltage .Machineries are having their own controls as designed by its manufacturer, including starters, contactors, sensors, limit switches for feedback system, solenoid valves, circuit breakers, relays, vfd’s, servo drives, PID controllers, thermocouples, variable power supplies etc and are programmed with PLC’s and HMI . Machineries are connected through belt conveyors running on 3 phase induction motors run throughout the plant at variable speeds controlled by VFD drives and PLC control. Maintenance of plant’s chiller unit for cooling water circulation, Boiler’s for hot water etc are carried out periodically .Other responsibilities include design and modification of machine electrical parts for better efficiency, fast production, reporting to engineering supervisor about machine running statistics, job summaries, fault diagnostics etc also to coordinate with other electrical and production line employees to provide better support by quick fault eradication.

Installation, programming and troubleshooting of Automated devices like PLC, HMI, Servo drives, Servo motor, pneumatic instruments, sensors, transducers, solenoid valves and VFD drives. Machine electrical circuit design and control wiring and PLC system programming for clients to determine the clients' needs and production. Working with heavy machinery and specialized automation equipment, and planning, designing, implementing, and testing.
