a. Review and provide comments on Contractor’s Contract Baseline Programme Package Revisions to ensure that all activities and milestones are in full compliance with all terms of the Contract.
b. Review and provide comments, if any, on Contractor’s Daily, Bi-weekly and Monthly progress reports including the Updated Baseline Programme.
c. Preparation of correspondences and responses regarding Contractor’s delays.
d. Ensure Project Consultant’s review periods for all Contractor’s documents are in line with the Contract requirements.
e. Monitor Contractor’s submissions on shop drawings, method statements, pre-qualifications and materials to ensure that these items will not delay the site works and the Project Contract Completion date.
f. Monitor Contractor’s procurement of long lead materials and ensure that they are in accordance with the approved Baseline Programme.
g. Obtain from the Contractor their three weeks look ahead programs together with the manpower and equipment schedules and their production targets and monitor the progress of the Contractor at minimum weekly intervals and identify corrective action as necessary to ensure that the construction work is completed in full compliance with the Work Schedule and all terms of the contract.
h. Coordination with the Contracts and Commercial team for any issues and submissions raised by the Contractor regarding claims on Scope Variations and Extension of Time (EOT).
i. Provide narrative reports and recommendation on Project issues as required by the Employer.
-Preparation of master schedules and cost analysis for the project.
-Maintain and update accurate work schedules and periodic progress reports.
-Monitor projects progress and provides my immediate superior with timely feedback.
-Responsible for scheduling techniques, cash flow projections, cost control, budgeting.
-Loading resources to schedules i.e. man hours, equipment hours, quantities using primavera.
-Develop Project S-curves and histograms.
-Liaise with the Client's representative regarding scheduling and cost control.
In charge of projects planning, monitoring & project control services for the construction of 42 storey Tadawul Tower located at King Abdulaziz Financial District. Project cost is about SAR 1.5B (USD 400 M). Project Programme monitoring and evaluation in order to meet set targets in terms of project schedule, optimum productivity and optimum efficiency. Prepares Delay claim analysis. Evaluates weekly and monthly reports prepared by junior planners. Prepares recovery schedule and best effort programmes for the project. Coordinates with the Subcontractor's planners such as MEP and fit-out works to verify that all work discipline are in proper sequence. Reports directly to the Planning manager.

For MAC bidding activities ' conducts pre-construction review of drawings and scope of work in order to identify planning and scheduling requirements for the particular project. Produce detailed Contract Programmes at Tender stage in order to reflect the scope of works & provide a baseline for works under bid. Prepares manpower & equipment loading schedules, first 100 days look-ahead schedule, WBS and other resource allocations as required for Proposed Projects under Bid by MAC Co. Project consist of Construction of twelve (12) short-span bridges at various locations in CALABARZON area. Project Cost: 148 M Pesos
Evaluates project accomplishments for monitoring of accomplishments and periodic billings. Prepares weekly reports on the general project status. Evaluates subcontractor's accomplishments. Monitor project expenses and material allocations with respect to project budget and schedule. Monitor actual project status and compare with the overall project schedule.
-Construction of Urdaneta City Water Supply System. The project has a total cost of PhP 108, 812, 890.20. The work includes the Construction of 2 Booster Pump Stations, 2-100 cu.m. capacity circular concrete ground reservoir, supply and installation of approximately 66 km. of transmission and distribution pipelines with size ranges from 50mm' to 300mm' complete with valves, fittings, blow-offs, fire hydrants and related pipe appurtenances.
-Rehabilitation of Surigao-Davao Coastal Road. The road project has a total length of 40.15 kms and has a total contract cost of PhP511, 651, 630.00. The road project stretches from Junction Bacuag and ends at Claver boundary of Surigao Provinces. The general scope of works involves the improvement of existing alignment and widening of roadway.
I undertake the preparation of monthly invoices for the accomplished portions of the project. Conduct the site quantification and documentation of work accomplishments.
-Malaybalay City Water Supply System. The project cost is PhP132Million covering a span of 16 kilometers of transmission pipelines (350mm' & 400mm' steel pipes from source to existing reservoirs. It includes the construction of sedimentation tank, rapid sand filter, a 16, 000 cu.m. water reservoir and office/pump house structure, check dam and collection basin at water source.
As cost engineer/assistant project engineer, my primary duties are the following:
a. proparation of monthly billings and reports and forward to owner's representative.
b. coordinate with the consultant and municipal engineers regarding the project.
c. acted as direct assistant to the project-in-charge in the implementation of the project
d. prepares project budgets
e. revise pert/cpm of the project based on the changes in schedules due to change orders and other factors.
-Improvement of Secondary Roads (San Marcelino St., Romualdez St., Legarda St., and Quezon Blvd ' URPO Project) Total Project Cost is 48 Million Pesos. The scope of the project includes the upgrading of roads and drainage systems, laying of asphalt pavement and replacement of steel pedestrian railings. The project was under the supervision of Renardet Consultants and implemented by IBRD-DPWH, URPO. As cost engineer for this project, i'm directly responsible for the quantification of accomplished works, documentation of accomplishments and preparation of other documents related to the project.
-Smokey Mountain Development and Reclamation Project. The total cost of project is about P 6 Billion comprising the development of former 22 hectares Smokey Mountain dumpsite into a modern commercial and mass housing project and the development of 79 hectares reclamation works at the adjacent portion of Manila Bay. The works also includes the Construction of 26 Medium Rise Buildings each with 120 individual units.
As cost engineer, i am responsible in the preparation of work accomplishment reports and forward it to NHA field office. I also quantify the remaining works and for weekly evaluations. Prepared the volume computation of 79 hectares reclamation area by long hand method for comparison to the claims of Jan de Nul dredger. Quantify volume of garbage in Smokey mountain area to be hauled out from site.
