Selected Achievements and trainings
• Designed and implemented accounting system in e-promis which links with the marine operations of the company and the various jobs undertaken.
• Negotiating and Liaising with banks and financial institutions for raising funds and non-fund based facilities at favorable terms to meet the working capital requirements, term loan, bank guarantee & LC;
• Responsible for Debt collection - from overseas and UAE, with 3 finance assistants for a medium size of business and other 4 business entities.
• Liaising with the Auditors, Tax consultants and the company secretary in Singapore for a subsidiary Company incorporated under the Singapore Companies Act.
• Preparation of accounts of related party companies and liaising with the customers specially overseas, once business is routed through such sister companies

• Reduced the accounts department cost from 8 staff to 4 staff.
• Trainings done to bring the E promis system online and imparted training for subordinates for the proper updating of transactions which helped the management to plan the cash inflow and outflow on time.

Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for implementing financial procedures, maintenance & finalization of accounts as per statutory requirements. Oversee all aspects of Budget preparation, MIS Reports, cost controlling. Manage and engage in the analysis of the Balance Sheet especially for the restructuring of various financial facilities of the company. Investigate and critique variances to budget or to prior year and offer practical improvement methodologies to management. Oversee the accounting, forecasting, variance analysis, and corporate planning and finance management.
Strategic Financial Planning & Control
Heading finance functions involving determining financial objectives, designing & implementing systems, policies & procedures to facilitate internal financial control.
Formulating and conducting variance analysis to determine difference between projected & actual results and implementing corrective actions.
Accounts & Auditing
Designing and implementing accounting systems & procedures; supervising the timely preparation of statutory books of accounts and finalization of accounts and payroll policies.
Monitoring and ensuring preparation of Bank Reconciliation Statements for reconciling Cash & Bank balances involving active coordination with bank authorities.

Had the experience of involving in sales and marketing of imported fabrics and also travelled to Taiwan and Bangkok to enter into business deals for import of goods to Hong Kong.
