- Provide technical support by installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications such as MS Office, ERP system, PDF, Outlook, Auto cad, SAP, Primavera
- Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
- Talking to staff or clients through a series of actions, either face to face or over the telephone or by email to help set up systems or to resolve issues
- Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
- Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
- Following diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system
- Setting up new users' accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues
- Responding within agreed time of resolving issues
- Testing and evaluating new technology and replacing parts as required
- Conducting electrical safety checks on computer equipment
