• Typical applications include Overland, In-plant, Incline and Stockpile conveyor systems, screw conveyors, vibrating feeders, stackers and reclaimers, transfer and weighting systems, Coal tips, Coal samplers, Coal Crushers, spreaders and Rail load out systems.
• Inspection on pulley laggings, idler brackets, idlers and entire conveyor structure.
• Assist with new belt installations, extensions and commissioning.
• Experience working with Atlas, Volvo, Sandvick and Caterpillar mobile mining equipment.
• Experience on Sulzer, Warman 10/8/6/3, KSD, Metso, Gardner Denver, End suction pumps, submersible, plunger pumps, mono pumps, multistage pumps and centrifugal pumps.
• Strip and repair high speed and reduction gearboxes (Radicon, Renold Croft, BEW, DB, Eichoff, Flender)

 Working closely on track plant with Mechanical Engineer to carry out planned preventative maintenance activities and reactive field repairs on Overhead Traction Equipment (OHTE) Machines, Ballast Cleaning Machines, Material Conveying Systems, Plain Track And Universal Tamping Machines and Dynamic Ballast Stabilising Machines.
 Fault finding, Install, test, repair, and rebuild pneumatics and hydraulics equipment.
 Refurbishing and assembling of major components such as tamping units, stabilising units, bogies, final drives and gearboxes.
 Maintain service and repair On Track Plant (OTP) in accordance with the machine service schedule.
 Carrying out as required the fault finding and subsequent repair of mechanical, hydraulics and pneumatics.
 Respond to break downs, faults and service queries.
 Clear understanding of standards and policies set down by line manager.
 Undertake training as necessary.
 Conduct planned maintenance work and servicing on plant machinery
 Track Infrastructure Measuring and Recording Cars.
 Experienced in maintaining Locomotives, Air-braked hopper and flat wagon rolling stock.
 Read and interpret technical drawings and assembly procedures for Pneumatic pumps and motors.

• Installation of valves (Swing check valves, Gate valves)
• Installation of pumps (Gorman pumps, centrifugal pumps, Submersible pumps)
• Servicing and repairing of hand-stop sluice gates, rotation beams, guide rails and replacement of bearings on a centre column.)

• Ensuring that the Sections (Utilities, Brew Houseand Packaging Plant) functions well by carrying out planned maintenance on equipment, diagnostic checks, routine checks and repair work on plant process equipment.
• Installation, maintenance and overhauls of Krones and KHS high speed bottling and packaging lines (de-palletiser, palletiser, unpacker, washer, filler, pasteurizer, labeller and conveyors).
• Maintenance and installation of effluent and water treatment plants.
• Knowledge of world class manufacturing systems; Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) and Evolution 3(E3).
• Knowledge of ISO 9001\[quality management systems\], ISO 14001\[environmental management systems\], ISO 18001 \[OHSAS\], ISO 22000\[food safety\], ISO 50001 \[energy management systems\] group of standards\].
