•Welcoming guests to the hotel in a polite and helpful manner.
•Portraying a highly professional image of the hotel and paying particular attention to guest satisfaction.
•Maximizing sales revenue through upselling, promoting hotel services and increasing the individual cardex occupancy.
•Assisting the guests with check-ins and check-outs according to the regulations of the hotel.
•Processing hotel software operations efficiently such as check-in, check-out, room move, reservation entry, cancellation or modification, post charge, discount, receipt and transactions balance.
•Taking payments from guests and charging cards upon receiving online bookings.
•Being a point of contact between all departments and the guest while following up internally when dealing with complaints and resolving issues.
•Answering individual inquiries and transferring calls when needed in a professional manner.
•Assisting in making, altering or cancelling individual reservations over the phone or in person, responding to incoming emails and sending booking offers, follow ups and confirmation letters.
•Recording guest information accurately and completing all relevant paperwork on a daily basis for a smooth hand-over at the end of the shift.
