QC Engineer / Structural Welding Inspector
In charge for material inspection as per purchase order being issued by the engineering/expeditor, developing the PQR/WPS as required, performing the welder performance test, monitoring & record the structural steel fabrication at the vendor fabrication shop & installation at site as per ITP and client specification based on AWS D1.1, D1.3, D1.4 and D1.8.

As a Piping Inspector, in charge for line pipe material inspection as per purchase order being issued by the expeditor, monitoring & record the piping fabrication & installation at site as per ITP and client specification based on ASME B31.3 process piping.

Responsible for being the liaison between the vendors and procurement on making the arrangement of inspection schedule and to ensure those materials condition are in accordance with the ITP before shipment. Following the previous, in charge to accomodate any related inspection issues with our client owner representative in order to find the solution of any discrepancies as per client specification and/or applicable code/standard reference.

In charge for developing WPQT/WPS and monitoring production welding, perform the WPQT in the New US Embassy Compound in Jakarta, in accordance with the specification and AWS D1.1/ASME Sect IX codes and standards.
Responsible for developing WPQT/WPS and monitoring production welding in the Phase-VI Project of PT. Asahimas Chemical, in accordance with the contract and code requirements.
Responsible for supervising several Welding Inspectors and insuring the overall quality of the product (pipeline), in accordance with the contract requirements and API 1104 code. This project was the 16 Km long EPC Water Disposal Line Pulau Gading-Sungai Kenawang for Joint Operation Body Pertamina-Talisman Jambi Merang, South Sumatera.

QUALITY CONTROL: FITTING/WELDING INSPECTOR
Responsible for structural inspections and insuring the overall quality of the product, in accordance with the contract requirements and codes such as AWS D1.1 and API. This project was the 22, 000MT and 2.1km long Gorgon Jetty Project for Chevron, Western Australia.
In charge of the NDT field works, ensuring inspections have been performed according to client’s contract and specifications. Also confirm the quality works have been achieved. The PLTU 3 Banten, a coal fired power plant with SEPCO, Gajah Baru, a project of SAIPEM, and Salama Energy Limited - Kambuna Onshore Receiving Facilities under PT. Citra Panji Manunggal (CPM).
Involved in structural steel inspections for project at Disneyland, CA and other smaller fabrication steel manufacturing projects in Southern California.
During this period I served as NDT inspector for SBI, being stationed at the Valero Refinery, Wilmington (CA) and Conoco Philips, Carson (CA).
Performed NDT LSI/Large Structural Inspections, GUL/Guided Ultrasonic Lamb waves inspections, and TPC/Touch Point Corrosion Inspections. I was stationed at the BP Carson, CA refinery.
I worked with Ameron International’s main business, the water transmission group in Fontana, CA. I was trained to perform TOFD/Phase Array, which was supplemental to conventional Ultra Sonic Testing. Also assigned to carry out Penetrant Testing (PT), Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI), and Visual Inspection (VT). The company goal was entering in to the competition of new business in United States, such as wind generator towers and water transmission pipes.
This was my 1st company after graduated from College of Oceaneering, where I was trained to do Ultrasonic Testing in refineries, cement factory, and general structural inspections.
