• Monitoring Steel Melting Shop performance on Daily basis from scrap to billet.
• Monitor the scrap quality, arrangement and recipe.
• Adjust the melting profile during the startup of the plant and the fine-tuning.
• Stabilize the production and maintenance activities of the entire unit to ensure the smooth operation of the plant.
• Monitor the production and performance for the lime plant with a daily production of 500 tons burnet lime.
• Monitor the production and performance of two-air separation plants and a liquefier.
• Organizing the capital spares and consumables.
• Organize the time schedule for down days and shut down jobs.
• Prepare the organization chart for the steel melting shop with its auxiliaries.
• Organizing the recruitment of the required personal according to the organization chart.
- Project Manager for the execution for the 2 new meltshop (Supplied by Siemens VAI) at ESISCO with all their auxiliaries.
Duties and responsibilities:
• Ensure the implementation of operational policies covering all areas of engineering section so that all relevant procedural requirements are met and high quality project are delivered.
• Prepare plans for engineering design, consultant /suppliers meetings, fabrication and execution work to ensure the project is on time.
• Analyzing the running cost for the execution work with the fabrication work and checking it to the budget of the project and reporting this to the top management.
• Organizing the manpower depending on the work load and priorities in the different areas of the project.
• Supervising the erection for all activities in the melting shop (Steel structure, Mechanical and piping) to ensure best quality, safe work and to ensure that the work is on schedule.
• Follow up the progress of the projects with the Project engineers and section heads in terms of civil work, mechanical erection work, piping installation and electrical work.
• Set the annual increment for all the group that is involved in the project starting from the managerial level to the worker level.
• Highlighting the priority for the Fabrication work related to ESISCo Scope of Supply.
• Take decisions for critical issues arose during project execution in the projects review meetings and through emails with the suppliers.
• Section Head for the steel making, checking all the operation reports, consumptions, steel production, quality, capacity, process monitoring that results in some Revamping the electric Arc furnace and ladle furnace (EASRCo) with their Axillaries water treatment plant and dust collection system .
• Review the quality reports and checking the quality of the fabricated items in our workshop and the Items supplied by our vendors incase reported defective by the quality control department.
• Handling all kinds of technical problems in various meltshop areas to ensure the maximum profit for my company.
• Route cause analysis for the all problems in the running meltshop or during the execution of the new steel meltshop.
• Responsible for signing the documents related to Supplier conformity reports.
- Project Coordinator Head for the execution for 2 new melting shops (Siemens VAI) and DRI (Midrex process) at ESISCo with their Axillaries starting from the pre-contract phase till the start of erection phase.
Duties and responsibilities:
• Revising the technical contract specifications including the Scope Of supply details.
• Revising the commercial contract.
• Checking and revising the technical data, basic engineering and the level of detail drawings for the projects.
• Checking the conformity of the drawing to the Scope of Supply and the conformity of the supplied equipment with the technical specifications.
• Inspection for the equipment before shipment to give release of shipment.
• Preparing and following up the time schedule for the projects including civil, fabrication, erection…etc.
• Manage incoming and outgoing documents as relevant to the Project Phases.
• Participating in the project review meetings with the Suppliers
• Responsible for all action plans related to the Main equipment (Overhead cranes, Fans, Complete material handling system, Stacker and re-claimer …etc.) Starting from Pre-contract till the start of erection.
- Senior Mechanical Maintenance Engineer responsible for Core areas of the plant (Electric Arc Furnace, Ladle Furnace, Material handling system, Hydraulic systems….etc.).
Duties and responsibilities:
• Analyzing problems and taking decisions to solve it in minimum time according to the information gained during commissioning of the plant or from maintenance manuals.
• Prepare daily, weekly reports that are reported to the maintenance manager.
• Planning the maintenance schedules for core areas during the plant stoppage and coordinating this schedule with the responsible engineers in the other areas.
• Ensure the execution of the schedule as planned to minimize the stoppage time.
• Prepare a daily log for the action plan of the preventative maintenance for the mechanical components.
• Preparing spare part list for the mechanical equipment, the hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Mechanical Erection Engineer for the erection of the Meltshop main equipment as electric arc furnace, Ladle furnace, heavy duty overhead cranes and material handling system.
Duties and responsibilities:
• Prepare the drawing, packing lists, inspection of the packing for the parts required for installation.
• Arrange the man power according to the work load and the qualifications of the workers.
• Prepare the hand over reports for the foreign supervisors after the successful erection to start the commissioning phase.
• General coordinator and mechanical responsible for commissioning and starting up for the main areas in the plant as electric arc furnace, ladle furnace, material handling system and heavy duty overhead cranes.
• The Commissioning work includes :
o The hydraulic, pneumatic, nitrogen systems.
o The Pneumatic conveying system.
o Adjusting different types of belt conveyors.
o Confirm the check list before the starting of any equipment.
o Adjusting the dedusting system in the plant.
