Facilitate the strategic development of data-based capabilities by establishing and administering an enterprise data governance implementation roadmap. Maintain primary focuses on improving data quality—and, in turn, securing sensitive information—via modifications to organisational behaviour policies and procedures (as well as relevant principles, governance metrics, processes, tools, and data architecture). Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and quality metrics while also formulating (and ensuring compliance with) data quality/protection standards and adoption requirements. Eliminate redundancies and streamline expenses via the coordination of external data sources, with additional accountability for resolving escalated issues from Hyperoptic’s business and functional areas. Promote higher data literacy by conducting training sessions for data owners, stewards, custodians, and citizens. Leverage excellent stakeholder management skills across the organisation’s entire operational, tactical, and strategic spectrum.
• Improved the quality and accuracy of the organization’s data assets by establishing data management-focused policies and procedures.
• Ensured higher data security and protection by defining roles and responsibilities, implementing controls, and monitoring access.
• Reduced overall time and effort spent on data-related tasks via the application of clearer data management processes and procedures (subsequently increasing efficiency).
• Increased the organisation’s accumulative efficiency and productivity while also improving critical decision-making processes and the generation of new revenue streams.
