• Preparation of commissioning and start-up activities for the Prestea Gas Conditioning Plant (PGCP)

Review of the basic and detailed engineering of the following new projects:
• Amazon LNG Project, Colombia.
• New Pyrolysis Plant Project for Greenval Technologies (GVT), Spain.
• Adaptation of the marine terminal at the Repsol Petróleo industrial complex in Tarragona, Spain.
• Project for the installation of a 650D-184D Bitumen Tank Heating System at the REPSOL Industrial Complex in Puertollano, Spain.
• Project for the purification of Dichloromethane (DCM) in column C-6401 of the Derivados Químicos Company located in Murcia, Spain.
• BATRI Project for Derivados Químicos Company located in Murcia, Spain.
• Project for New installations for connection to Viura-1B and V-3B wells for the company Heyco Energy Iberia SLU, Spain.

• Technical support to the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) and Business Development departments in the evaluation of new Genser Energy projects and businesses, as well as in the review of engineering documents for projects in progress (IC5 Project, Fenaam, TNET, GCP, New gas pipeline to the Ivory Coast, Africa).
• Development of technical specifications associated with projects.
• Technical support to the Operations and Maintenance departments in resolving operational problems and evaluating proposals for improvements in the different thermoelectric power generation units and in the gas pipeline.
• Technical support in the start-up of gas pipelines and new facilities.
• Review of the basic and detailed engineering of the Prestea Natural Gas Conditioning Plant from a process engineering perspective, including review of P&ID, PFD, mass and energy balance, alarm configuration, cause and effect diagrams, associated safety system, battery boundary conditions. Simulation of the PGCP process in the Aspentech HYSYS simulation program.

Review of the basic and detailed engineering of the following new projects:
• GP Prestea Gas Conditioning Plant (GCP) Lynde Technology of Genser Energy Ghana Limited (GEGL). With this plant will be treated 200 MMSCFD of associated gas from Jubilee and Teen fields and obtain 25, 000 BDP of refrigerated NGL’s (ethane, propane, butane and C5+).
• New project Takoradi Port Terminal that include facilities to storage ethane and propane, System for truck unloading bays, cryogenic loading arm system for Products to the Ship-Cargo at existing berth.
• New Bomboré Power Plant in Burkina Faso, Africa. In this project will be installed 4 power generation (14 MW each one) and all auxiliaries.

Formulation of plans and budgets necessary for the operation of the company´s plants and pipelines, as well as advising the operational and maintenance areas; and control and monitoring of the logistics of the supply of hydrocarbon derivatives, to formulate administrative and operational strategies that allow timely decision-making framed in the fulfillment of the objectives of the General Management of Plants and Polyducts.

Direct and control the processes of commercialization, operations, and support services for the management of lubricants and marine fuels, under a business vision that allows the positioning of marine products in the national and international market, considering the volumes, quality, costs, and environmental conservation, in synergy with the different bodies that govern maritime activity and executing the necessary control mechanisms that allow compliance with current legal regulations.

Present the short, medium and long-term planning of the commercialization and distribution of fuels produced by PDVSA, through the elaboration of plans, Reports, presentations, and indicators that provide management and internal clients with external information about the risks that may affect management, significant deviations, achieving optimization, continuous improvement of operational, financial and administrative processes.

Responsible for ensuring compliance with all operational procedures to satisfy Safety and Environmental Policies, safe and effective plant startup, shutdown, and normal operation of HF Alkylation, Sulphur Recovery Unit SRU, Sour Water Units, Amine Treatment, and MTBE plants. Responsible for the development of operating manuals and procedures. Ensuring continuity of operations with a focus on areas affecting process and personnel safety, plant and equipment availability, and reliability. Participation in Plant Hazops, Hazard Analysis, and start-up and operational safety reviews. Participate in the operator training program. Led Plant Startups, Plant Shutdowns, and Emergency Shutdowns.

Monitoring and optimization for the improvement of the conversion and treatment units: HF Alkylation, SRU, Sour Water Units, Amine Treatment, Nitrogen compound removal unit, Merichem Phenolic Water Treatment, Merox Extraction, Merox Sweetening and MTBE production. Guarantee the control and follow-up of the operations, generating technical recommendations for the solution of the operational problems. Preparation of PFD, P&IDs, Heat and Material Balance, Design Basis, Process Description, Operating and Control Philosophy, Data Sheet of Equipment and Instruments, Technical Memorandum, HAZOP.
