My school is a free school with a fairly small cohort that deals with alternative provision students and is sponsored by Everton Football Club. I am part of a small Mathematics department that works exclusively with pupils aged 14-18. We cover Foundation and Higher level GCSE and some A- Level provision. I have been in this position for three years and have mostly been working with the Higher Math classes, which I enjoy as I prefer working with harder topics. I am also a form tutor and responsible for running the Duke of Edinburgh program for the whole school. I have been taking after school Math extension classes since I began at the school and have slowly built up a large group of students who stay behind to complete extra Math.
