• As Superintendent, I am the highest person on site accountable for Production, Quality and Safety issues. I am responsible for all construction activities for RSLFAC Bases Expansion Project in Dammam which consists of 3 PEMB buildings for a helicopter Hangar, a Warehouse, and for Ground Support Equipment. Additionally, the project encompasses airfield PCC concrete, airfield asphalt works, related external utilities and access roads. The client is the US Army Corps of Engineers and final client is Royal Saudi Land Forces Air Command.
~ Plan, coordinate and supervise the day to day operations for all construction works of the projects as per specifications defined by PMO.
~ Review work progress, ensure that all assigned tasks are well planned and coordinated and respond work delays or unanticipated situations on site
~ Elaborate 3 Week and 3 Month look ahead to coordinate with design team for technical submittals and material delivery.
~ Intercede with procurement for timely delivery of materials and resources to assure delivery of project within schedule.
~ Head weekly coordination meetings with client (USACE) for ongoing activities, look ahead and technical issues.
• Construction Manager in a 170M Sar Royal Palace project in Riyadh where I was responsible for site planning which perceives the manpower and equipment forecasting to complete project within budget and schedule. High degree of detail required for luxury finishing by international designer.
• I coordinated technical submittals with respective engineering departments and any required follow-up for Consultant approval.
• I attended regular meetings with Consultant and Client representative for all related matters to site progress and status of material/long-lead items delivery.
Most common functions are:
• Supervision of all works relating to civil works: earthworks/foundations/columns/grade slabs/formworks/reinforcement.
• Analysis of drawings and interfacing with project team
• Planning and coordination of site activities while optimizing the required resources and manpower.
• Interface with client, suppliers, subcontractors and consultant
• Ensure the balance between targets/production/cost.
Acting manager of business unit for Concrete and GFRC precast facility that supplied company projects. I coordinated the preparation of tendering/quotations for the precast elements and was responsible for preparing fabrication/site installation schedules, with regards to specific project needs and deadlines. Supervised and provided support for mold fabrication. Coordinated supply chain and deliveries for site installation. I provided technical support for drawings preparation and production difficulties. I was responsible for preparation of final cost report for subsequent billing.
Responsible for the planning and supervision of mould fabrication (silicone form or metal), to produce GFRC (Glass fibre reinforced concrete) and concrete precast pieces, used as ornamental elements for building facades, ex.: columns, capitals, windows, cornices, balusters, etc.
Plan the fabrication of plaster models with the use of a CNC machine or gypsum subcontractors and ensure the quality of the workmanship.
Coordinate the fabrication and delivery of formwork (metal or fibreglass casings) between workshop, sub-contractors, and production line.
Manage the use of silicon for the pouring in casings, verify the silicone finish and subsequently forward the finished molds to the production line where the final GFRC or precast pieces are fabricated. Prepare method drawings for molds when drawings are not available.
Responsible for elaborating cost estimates for projects: residential and industrial buildings.
Accountable for the planning, co-ordination and quality control of the construction projects the company carried out.
Prepared schedule for work/tasks according to project planning and supervised the coordination of tasks between company employees and sub-contractors.
Verified that work is completed according to drawings/specifications and within standards.
Supervised construction of several turnkey apartment buildings from foundations until completion and subsequent approvals.
