• Gathering of accurate factual logging information i.e. depth, gas, composition,
ROP, WOB, RPM, lag, engineering data and calculations, pressure detection and data.
• Providing assistance with lithological descriptions for all formations drilled and identifies formation name, group or member.
• Interpreting logging information to determine occurrence and composition of any
oil and or gas shows, and analyses and documents ‘zones of interest’.
• Assembling information into a formation, drilling, or pressure evaluation log and constructs reports set by customer requirements.
• Producing concise, accurate information, providing analysis and evaluation.
• Communicating information to the customer as necessary i.e. engineering issues, geological information, engineering or hydraulic calculations and delivery of data or logs throughout the well.
• Performing specialized tests or gathering any additional data as required by the customer.
• Providing any specialised monitoring services as requested by the customer.
• Following and promoting all safety policies and procedures.
• Maintaining preventative and corrective maintenance of equipment and repair where permissible.
• Supervision of the logging geologists
Assigned to HPHT and Deep Water wells to gather accurate factual logging information (Depth, Rate of Penetration, Lag Time, Engineering Data and Pressure Detection Data).
Collection and preparation of geological samples followed by lithological and geochemical analysis for all formations drilled.
Interpreting logging information to determine occurrence and composition of any oil and/or gas shows which occur while drilling.
Gas ratio analysis for gas chromatograph data (C1 - C5), and gas chromatograph mass spectrometry.
Assembling mud-logging information into mud-logs and the INSITE Drilling Database, providing stratigraphic correlation and identification of formation name, group, or member.
Writing in-depth, end of well geological and geochemical analysis reports.
Understanding and application of volumetric calculations, hydraulics calculations, and pore pressure evaluation.
Active contribution to well control and monitoring procedures.
Observation, implication, and involvement in HSE procedures.
Active involvement in the installation and decommissioning of surface data logging equipment.
• Managed the profitable and effective growth of this successful business to deliver holistic hard and soft landscaping services to domestic and commercial clients.
• Advised clients on natural stone products, explaining the different properties, composition, mineralogy, and practicality of the available products.
• Conducted site surveys, detailing soil quality, bedrock, land drainage, and subsidence risks.
• End to end management of contracts, managing project budgets, and preparing by accurately recording measurements, which enabled the correct quantity of materials to be calculated.
