Recruited onsite to support and deliver Space, Range and Display (SRD) program which optimizes the product range across Tesco stores, in Thai business. As the SPOC of the SRD projects, reported directly to Martin Robinson and Atiporn Jaroensri, IT Director’s to improve the overall efficiency of SRD projects. Accurate deployment, localisation and training for JDA applications on client machines. Efficient deployment plans, project documentation and test cases were created.
Key Contributions:
• Developed and deployed “Clearance Sale” program that automated and improved efficiency of RTC process to clear remaining stock after last markdown. Generate $250 million profit up to date.
• Spearheaded the launch of new application known as Record Product Position (RPP) that helped the stores to manage stock on hand, ordering and replenishment. This reduced the gaps on shelves by 48%. Also helped the store pickers for online shopping order to locate products faster which in turn improved the delivery time.
• Testing and Deployment of new overlay functionality in space range and display which helped business users to reduce manual drawing of store specific planograms.
• Introduced methodologies and best practices that enhanced product definition, release processes and customization of code to user needs.
• Performance tuning of codes which reduced the run time by 30 to 40%. Critical defects were also fixed during this process.
• Developed custom functionalities to support Shelf Edge Label printing in stores with respect to Store Line applications. Reduced paper wastage by 20%.
• Created reports for streamlining. The reports were used by business users for analysis of data and have helped them to save enormous amount of time and effort.
• Served as face of IT, participating on new conceptual Tesco store (dark store) opening for online sales and co-ordinating with cross functional teams.
• Expertise on JDA Intactix applications (Space Planning, Floor Planning, Data Manager and Web Publisher) including work area for implementation, installation, configuration and support.
Joined the Space, Range and Display team to design, develop and support data management solutions for critical retail applications, primarily JDA space and floor planning. Backend support the business users for any issues. Analyse and correct the ranges & planograms for all store formats, sizes and profiles.

• Support business user queries for 14 countries. Proactive lookups on batches to check for issues. On-call availability to support after work hours.
• Development and automation to ease the business user’s activities.
• Maintenance and performance tuning of the developed software systems.
• Spearheaded as the Technical Consultant during the launch of Space & Display project between Tesco and Star Bazaar (Tata Enterprise) in India. This allowed Tesco products to be sold in Star Bazaar. Generated a profit of $78 million in 2011 and still running with exceptional profits.
• Implemented the concept of virtual products that enriches the accuracy of store user replenishment on shelves.
