To carry out servicing of Gas Turbine.
1. To carry out over-all maintenance of Plant equipment like cranes, compressor, motors, pumps, conveyor’s of all sorts, valves, gauges etc., that includes preventive maintenance as well as un-scheduled jobs.
2. To ensure that equipment and service procedures and programs are effectively implemented in consistent with sound engineering practices.
3. To review and improve preventive maintenance programs, checklist and overhaul program.
4. To be in-charge of technicians, skilled fitters, welders and greasers.
5. To distribute, supervise and attend to daily job cards.
6. To assist Engineers in procurement of spare parts.
7. To advice technicians, skilled fitters, welders and greasers on safety and technical problems encountered.
8. To attend to plant emergency and ensure urgent repairs and carried out effectively.
9. To study and modify equipment if necessary.
10. To assist the Engineers in any other duties.
1. Ensure 100% percent engine availability.
2. Monitor and operate all equipment controlled from the CCR.
3. Detect identify and react to abnormal conditions that may develop into emergency situations.
4. Maintain high standard of housekeeping in areas of responsibility and platform in general.
5. Identify variations in production plant performance and effectively address each situation.
6. Properly document and accurately report all operational readings, adjustments, and inspections.
7. Undertake training as offered by the company to expand competency.
8. Maintain smooth running of the engines so that the plant can support maximum load require-ment of the cement plant for operation and supply the necessary load by the grid if necessary.
9. Conduct turbine and compressor washing of the engine turbo as scheduled.
10. Conduct cylinder compression check after every engine has been stopped.
11. Conduct peak pressure test as per advice by the shift supervisor or as scheduled.
12. Conduct engine preservation as per advice by the shift supervisor or after a long engine stop-page.
13. Perform corrective maintenance if any abnormalities occur while on operation.
14. As for maintenance schedule, assist maintenance personnel or service team on working for cor-rective and preventive maintenance schedule (PMS).
1. Maintenance and operation of Pumps and Compressors.
2. Maintenance and operation of Fuel and Lube Oil Separator.
3. Conduct monthly and quarterly inventory of chemicals and lubricants.
4. Conduct chemical top-up for closed loop cooling (anti scale and anti corrosion) after a third party analysis.
5. Conduct actual dipping of HFO, DO, LO after every delivery.
6. Conduct soot blowing of exhaust gas boiler every third and first shift.
7. Maintenance and operation of sewage and sludge treatment.
8. Knowledge about boiler system (water tube boiler)
9. Perform total dissolve solid (TDS) analysis for closed loop water cooling for diesel engine.
10. Detect identify and react to abnormal conditions that may develop into emergency situations.
11. Maintain high standard of housekeeping in areas of responsibility and platform in general.
