Assigned to Al Hamra Tower- the tallest building in Kuwait as Finance Coordinator.
- Prepare and manage budgets, monitoring & control on a recurrent basis;
- Drive and measure the KPIs
- Monthly/ quarterly reports to board
- Monitoring and interpreting cash flows and predicting future trends;
- Formulating strategic and long-term business plans
- Supervises the procurement officer for purchases for client invoices
- Supervise the stores controllers for proper stock reports for audit purposes (both internal and external)
As the company's accountant, i do all the updates on the book and maintaining the records. Preparation of quotation, invoices, company's procurement procedures, dealing with existing and new clients, order specification detail explanation, collection and the likes are some of my key duties as well, aside from keeping the accounts. Preparation of financial statements of course, is the main responsibility.
- Prepare country package (sent to Home Office)
- Prepare financial statement (BS, Cash Flow, IS) for auditing purposes.
- Bank reconciliation procedures
- Analyze financial data for purpose of forecasting (i.e. profitability index, liquidity)
- Other adhoc assigned by the main office.
- conduct advance phone calls to set up appointments to clients
- convey the needs for insurance
- help team members close deals
- close sign ups for future business
- sorts all payroll files every payday (15th and 30th)
- send it to audit firm for review
- prepares pay slips for employee reference
- coordinate with team leads for distribution of slips
- process disputes
- reports to financial controller for companies asset turn-over ratio
- conducts one-on-one explanation for any payroll related issue
- coordinates with the audit firm to conduct proper orientation for new hires
- other ad-hoc as assigned by the controller

• Reconcile balances.

• Prepare all financial statements for audit and tax purposes.
Have been an active student not just for academics but also became a student leader. Became President of the Student Body Organization of the entire college and conducted trainings, symposiums and seminars for the constituents. Became secretary of finance of the Supreme student council as well.
