DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Promote Occupational Health, Safety & Environment programs within the Organization to develop safer, healthier and environmental friendly work place.
•Assist and monitor sub contractors in conducting field safety inspections and resolving hazard issues.
•Provide assistance to sub contractors with incident investigation and initiate analysis to discover incident and corrective action.
•Advises and assists the senior construction site representative in the establishment and management of the job site safety program, identifying and eliminating/controlling any hazards to persons and property.
•Represents management during safety inspections at the job site.
•Review & Monitor Permit to Work (PTW) at site.
•Submit daily reports to HSE Senior In-charge.
•Assist sub contractors with the inspection of tools and equipment for monthly inspection report.
•Attend toolbox meeting with the sub contractors.
•Executes all assigned responsibilities defined in the take time for safety matrix.
•Attend and execute coordination meeting with the sub contractors at site office.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Assists and report to HSE superintendent to complete all required responsibilities.
•Assist supervisors in conducting field safety inspections and resolving hazard issues.
•Provide assistance to supervisors with incident investigation and initiate analysis to discover incident and corrective action.
•Monitor and participate in PRESTART and START meeting.
•Review and monitor hazardous materials storage and Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) records.
•Executes all assigned responsibilities defined in the take time for safety matrix.
•Site monitoring, inspection of permit to work, conduct air gas testing before employees commenced to their works, preparation of daily, weekly and monthly safety report.
•Assist certified/competent inspector for the inspection of Tools PPE’s and Equipments for monthly safety inspection report.
•Perform fulltime and continuous safety coverage/monitoring of work sites. Report and assists site supervisor and manager in the over-all approved company safety plan.
•Keep up to date with recommended codes of practice and safety literatures and culture information to each level of the employees.
•Conduct daily inspection for installation site work areas, and monthly inspection of the design offices to ensure compliance according to the site specific HSE plan.
•Attend and provide regular scheduled safety meetings and monthly HSE leadership team meeting.
•In-charge in SAFETY SUPERVISION at GREEN FIELD AREA.
•Night shift HSE Coordinator for the successful SAMREF SHUTDOWN from Jan. 12 to Jan. 27, 2012.

•Assist with the work force developing the Job Safety Analysis (JSA)/ Job Hazard Risk Assessment (JHRA).
•Safe monitoring of chemical cleaning of installed pipes at Furnace.

•Carry out site surveys to see it that only safe work methods are in operation, that health and safety requirements are being observe and that the welfare and first aid facilities are adequate and properly maintained.
