• Perform business and profitability analysis and expense related analysis
• Assist in the preparation of seasonal budgets, annual budgets and leads monthly budget meetings for various departments
• Prepares monthly journal entries, account analysis and reconciliations. Includes all entries that affect cash and various accruals (including but not limited to: legal, property tax, prepaid, bank reconciliations, travel and temporary labor)
• Provide support to finance business partners for U.S. and Canada regarding proper accounting treatment.
• Ensure financial reports are in accordance with GAAP
• Responsible for reconciling Oracle Cash and Accounts Payable accounts by working with the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Treasury departments.
• Responsible for the Monthly Cash Debt Report provided to Smiths Group.
• Coordinate and manage the Minimum Controls process.
• Provide a backup for the Intercompany Accountant
• Work as a main point of contact for with Finance Controllers regarding owned accounts.
• Collaborate with the legal department regarding legal accruals
• Will work extensively with the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Treasury Departments.

• Prepare and analyze business reporting
Provides input into the development of annual and long-range plans and financial forecasts
• Identify, recommend and implement process improvements
• Accounts Payable Reviews all incoming batches from stores for proper coding and comments
• Responsible for reviewing expense reports for accuracy
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Access, Oracle, SAP, ERP and the Internet
• Maintenance of the On Hold Report for designated suppliers
• Maintain an approachable demeanor with all internal and external stakeholders
• Weekly/Bi-weekly On Hold calls with Smiths sites
• Problem solving internal & external with stake holders
• Work with buyers/controllers for issue resolution
• Month end accrual invoices
