Monitoring and guiding shift team
Efficient processing and planning of client requests in accordance with statutory requirements and company policy as defined in the OM and SOP
Utilizing the manuals and publications within the company’s operations library:
AIC (Aeronautical Information Circulars)
ANO (Air Navigation Orders) and Regulations
Company Operations Manuals
Operational Notifications
AIP/AIS
Coordinating with customers, third-party vendors, pilots, administrators, dispatchers, and schedulers to create, execute, and monitor international trip coordination, including short-notice international service requests
Examining regulatory and permit requirements, secure slots and PPRs, overflight & landing clearances as well as coordinating all other flight operations activities
Interacting with all concerned departments including ground operation, fuel operations and flight planning for any related issues
Handling critical, urgent and problematic flight operations correspondence, mail and e-mails, on a daily basis
Closely aliasing with DOD’s based around region for special approvals and monitoring APACS system filing to avoid any issues
Closely monitoring for any issues or problems can arise with CAA authorities
Day to day routine flight operation work and regular staff training for smooth operation
Regular training and conducting a twice a month staff meetings for ANO, AIC, IATA Standard Ground Handling Manual, IATA Dangerous Goods regulation, Freedoms of Air implementation by different countries and basic knowledge of JAA and FAA regulation and requirements

•Engage with key stakeholder in identifying areas of strategic focus for Virgin Australia (VA)
•Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
•Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities. Provides guidance and mentorship to other departments and personals.
•Communicate with senior/executive Virgin internal stakeholders through working groups and steering committees. Influences decision-making with these multi-business unit stakeholders to the benefit of the project or program and business benefits
•Manage and negotiate with multi-vendor consortiums in complex programmers. Aligns supplier’s goals to Virgin. Use strong communication skills, relationships and contractual management techniques to manage suppliers effectively.

•Check all new Repair Orders received, on a day to day basis, for their work content, warranty applicability and modification and filed, in order to facilitate monitoring and follow up.
•Supervise incoming inspection of aircraft spares arriving to part store/Conduct Daily/Weekly/Monthly store inventory for unserviceable parts received in stores and arrange for repair or warranty replacement/Communicates effectively with Vendors, Repair Organizations and Service Providers to identify needs and evaluate alternative business process/solutions with resulting cost reduction/Continuously check part criticality and follow-up with vendors on suitable repair arrangements to assure remedy and control over Nil stock/AOG.
•Conduct Weekly/Monthly stock checks as directed by the Chief Engineer and CFO/Generate all day to day PO’s upon completion of validating Finalised RFQ from purchasing officers with approval from engineering manager for authenticity of product/Generate all day to day RO’s upon completion repair quote evaluating from RO stations/Maintain and overlook state of the computerized store facility around the clock/Arrange cost efficient logistics arrangements for parts delivery to and from the part store and repair facility/Closely monitor engine hot-section replacement activity, movement of hot-section as per engine lessors replacement policy and core returns as per agreements with various vendors/Evaluate technical requirements of major projects/Create, revise and execute project plans to meet changing organization objectives, deadlines and aircraft departure targets/Coordinate with managers, engineers and maintenance staff to achieve objectives/Liaise with other external organizations such as OEM, regulatory authorities and service providers to obtain service and or technical data/Should respond to audit findings and take necessary corrective and preventative action within stipulated time frame/Giving guidance to other departments on all matters relating to materials, maintenance, repair, overhaul and modification of aircraft and equipment, including purchase of new equipment/All warranty repair orders should be reviewed and evaluated for charges and warranty disposal before being forwarded to the Repair Engineer for final disposal/Scrutinize all Repair Invoices for their correctness (Work-scope, initial quotations and any agreed deviations during the repair process), and forward as per LOA mentioned above/Follow up with spares dispatch team for all overdue repair orders for which acknowledgement has not been received and ensure that the acknowledgement is obtained and further necessary action on the order taken/Liaison/Follow up With Repair Agencies for Non-Critical items and they may not affect the maintenance/operational requirements if the item is returned with RTAT+14 days. Repair Co-coordinators enquire through maul on an average twice per RO as per schedule dates, to ensure the job is progressing normally and as per RTAT/Critical shortage/ Nil-stock items (a) at the time of RO, (b) during the RTAT period, (c) AOG Situations and (d) overdue items not received by RTAT + 14 days. Repair Co-coordinators identify and follow up with Repair Agencies for their urgent and definitive confirmation on the delivery date for the repaired items in order to ensure their availability of those components to meet / manage critical situations/Raise scrap notes for components declared as irreparable or beyond economic repair (BER), as instructed by Repair Engineer/Ensure that open defects for the fleet are reviewed on a regular basis with a view to reduce the total defects to a minimum/Carry out Weekly/Monthly MEL spares stock checks/Maintain an overlooks on in-service spares purchasing process which includes sourcing and negotiation of prices and warranty for replenishing and initial provisioning/Assist Engineering Manager in his review of the documents, and physical inspection of unserviceable components and parts/
