1. Determined the location, identified, rendered safe of explosive ordnance (conventional weapon contamination - more than 8 cases all over Lebanon after 2019).
2. Detonated and disposed hazardous munitions, pyrotechnics and outdated explosives.
3. Sampled, analyzed hazardous materials (non-conventional weapon contamination) and chemicals with proper procedures and PPE.
e.g.
Contained Hazmat and Decontaminated structures from harmful chemicals inside ZOUK POWER PLANT warehouses - 2021.
4. Inspected chemical warehouses and storage areas to verify safety measures implementation (e.g. agricultural and chemical fertilizers).
5. Post-Blast investigation and Incident scene management involving hazardous materials (e.g. Beirut port explosion-2020)

• Provide EOD L1, L2 & L3 full training and coaching to ISF members (including advanced emphasis on chemical knowledge in explosive and chemical warfare)
• Perform remedial training to ISF’s EOD team members to ensure good skills (including technical drills, knowledge and safety procedures updates)
• Conducted extensive research on the removal of explosive contaminants (TNT) from water sources using persulfate advanced oxidation
• Designed and implemented laboratory experiments to simulate real-world contamination scenarios and evaluate treatment performance under various conditions.
• Developed and optimized a novel disposal technique for bulk casted explosive.
Innovative production of sustainable materials from industrial local coproducts:
• Extraction of tannin from local industrial coproducts (pine cones and grape pomace)
1. Tested composites (fibers made of synthetic PE and PA) for ballistic penetration issued from explosions.
2. Experienced the manufacturing of various materials under the TR VPAM and NIJ standards.
3. Examined flame retardant materials such as NOMEX and POLARTEC.
Preparation of TiO2 thin films modified by rGO and MoS2 using PECVD for antibacterial purposes. • Extensive knowledge about different plasma's parameters. • Fixing and modifying the outdated reactor setup to achieve consistent results. • Creation of an entirely novel arrangement for the bubbler and gas tubes in order to mix several reactants simultaneously.
