Lead Quality Management of Power generation and water desalination project of Duqm Power Company.
Develop QMS system for Marafiq, Oman for ISO 9001 QMS Certification
- Responsible for the Quality Information System including collection, analysis and display of trends and alerts.
- Carry out Level 1 audits of the functions, projects and assets.
- Responsible for co-ordination of vendor approval for PDO, carry out vendor assessments representing quality management function.
- Review quality plans / contract quality plan from Contractors / vendors etc.
Responsible for step change of Quality Management System by:
•Incorporating best practices taken from the various past and current projects.
•Preparation of Project Quality plans and programmes, quality training schedule, audit schedule etc.
•Devising real time Quality Information System linking various site and project offices.
•Representing QA/QC in the ERP implementation team proactively identifying various commonalities of various business processes across various divisions of Petrofac by mapping the business processes, co-ordinating with ERP development Vendor etc.
•Audits projects on behalf of corporate Quality department.
•Audits sub-contractors / Suppliers as requested by projects.
•Trouble shooting visits to projects to attend specific quality issues.
•Develop and Train QA/QC Engineers and provide guidance to project QA/QC staff.
Represent company for quality aspects in corporate level for maintaining ISO 9000 system certificate.Represent projects for quality aspects and loiase with Client Quality Representative.
Represent EPC projects for quality aspects. Support corporate Quality Manager for maintenance of corporate quality system.
Management representative for the company maintaining ISO 9001 certificate. Support to EPC projects.
Represent projects for quality aspects in Design scope of work with PDO. Maintain company's quality management system registration in Oman.
Corporate as well as project Quality Management support in full compliance with ISO 9000 standard.
Carry out Indutrial engineering / Quality management related training and consultancy services including system improvement projects for all types of organisations
