Coordinate site Hse management system, enforce hse compliance on site, follow up and close out all reported near misses, investigate all accidents and incidents to reveal root cause and forestall reoccurrence, train workers on safe work methods, manual handling, lifting etc. Provide induction for newly employed staff and visitors, oversee the operation of the site clinic and maintain medical records of over 150 workers on site, monitored and supervised hse compliance offshore at dredging site, provided basic first aid and fire fighting training for workers on the dredger.
Recieved an award of recognition for supporting student unionism at departmental level and representing the department, faculty and university in the national student union body of the state
