• Perform financial analysis and reporting to management as needed.
• Perform month-end accounting activities such as reconciliations and journal entries.
• Coordinate with finance team to complete assigned accounting tasks within deadlines.
• Evaluate computerized accounting systems and provide recommendations to IT team for performance improvements.
• Generate financial reports and statements to Managers for review.
• Analyze financial discrepancies and recommend effective resolutions.
• Monitor expenditures, analyze revenues and determine budget variances and report the same to management.
• Respond to accounting inquiries from management in a timely fashion.
• Provide guidance to other Accountants when needed.
• Budget preparation and expense management activities for assigned accounts.
• Assist in auditing activities by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentations.
• Monitor and record financial transactions according to company policies and regulations.
• Review and recommend changes to existing accounting procedures.
• Communicate and follow up with the bank to follow up the company inquiries
• Communicate the payment terms with the suppliers and the clients, and prepare all the ILC and ELC application and related documents and follow up with the bank to ensure the process.
• Prepare the forecast cash flow .
• Plan and implement work objectives and schedules for accounting/financial activities in order to ensure that an effective service is provided to the business.
• Ensure the effective implementation of work objectives through leadership of a specialist team, cascading objectives, managing performance and motivating employees, in order to ensure the highest levels of performance are achieved.
• Provide professional advice and guidance on complex issues and policies to internal customers on accounting/financial issues in order to ensure that policies are properly applied and implemented and high standards in accounting/financial practices are achieved and maintained
• Anticipate, assess and resolve complex problems which impact on the work of the accounting/finance department and/or critical to the business.
• Maintain a good knowledge and understanding of the external legislative accounting/financial framework and ensure that the department work complies
• Maintain a high level of expertise in own area as well as motivate, train, evaluate and coach others in developing their own professional expertise
• Review Payments and follow up on receivables
• Ensure that all entries, claims and reimbursements are supported by documents
• Validate the banks interest rate and charges
• Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
• Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying,
consolidating, and entering transactions.
• Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling
and analysing account information.
• Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and
reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
• Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial
balance, and reconciling entries.
• Summarizes financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheet,
profit and loss, and other statements.
• Produces payroll by initiating computer processing; printing checks, verifying
finished product.
• Completes external audit by analysing and scheduling general ledger accounts and
providing information for auditors.
• Avoids legal challenges by complying with legal requirements.
• Secures financial information by completing database backups.
• Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
Strategic Support: Executing strategies by undertaking research, platform
determination and target audience identification. Developing accounting plans
which delivers key business control target.
• Technical Support: Process payments and receivable, ensure accurate data entry on
the accounting system, proper filling of supporting documents and stock
management, prepare all legal files related to VAT and CNSS.
• Financial analysis: Reviewing financial company’s requirements, analyzing
fraudulence which impairs company’s reputation and financial loss.
• Quality Services: Managing the implementation of best practices in all relevant
accounting functions, ensuring fulfillment of accounting requirements while
delivering quality service in line with company vision, mission and strategy.
• Process Improvements: Identifying and implementing accounting process
improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy, Orient and educate junior
accountant on company's policies and procedures on a regular basis.
• Relationship Management: initiating & maintaining relationships with key Financial
decision makers. Coordinating & communicating relationships with authorities.
