Job Description:

1. Execute the construction of concrete shaft manhole for electric tunnel and foul water micro tunnel.
2. Execute the construction of eight lane and two -2 lane underground structural road tunnels from the base slab and the wall up to top slab structure.
3. Oversee the installation of water proofing works before underground tunnel works will commence and waterproofing works after completion of the structure prior backfilling.
4. Execute and oversee in the construction of flyover bridge.
5. Prepare WORK PERMITs R.F.I and conduct joint inspection together with supervising consultant.

CIVIL/SITE ENGINEER at DAEWOO E&C LTD.

1. Oversee the work executed for bored piling activity using temporary casing method (concrete piles), utilized drilling accessory (AUGER) with flights spanning the entire of its length and BUCKET which is attached to the KELLY BAR and used for drilling under wet condition and for cleaning a bore.

2. Piling works concentrated mainly in foundation of (2) Fuel tanks, (4) Gas turbines, (2) Steam turbines, (4) H.R.S.G. foundations and all building and Water tanks structures, Pipe racks and Cable bridge prior to the construction of the above mentioned structures.

3. Oversee the work executed for temporary Diaphragm wall. The wall is reinforced and made of various types of panel, primary, successive and secondary panel for excavation purposes. Each panel excavated in “bites” using hydraulic grab equipment. Prior to diaphragm wall excavation a reinforced guide wall was constructed over diaphragm wall and non-reinforced bentonite cement wall.

4. Diaphragm wall was constructed solely for the excavation and construction of intake basin of sea water pumping station structure.

5. Oversee for the construction of intake basin structure from chamber wall where stop gates were located, construction of middle slab where seawater pumps located to supply water to the turbines and from the turbines to the discharge GRP lines going to outfall structure .

6. Oversee earthwork activity particularly during excavation and sand filling of GRP lines as discharge pipelines going to outfall.

7. Oversee earthwork activity for the construction of intake channel from excavation and laying of armoring rocks that serves as seawater passage going to intake basin structure.

8. Oversee the construction of pipe sleeper foundation for backup fuel pipe lines.

SITE ENGINEER at DAEWOO E&C CO. LTD (Nakilat Ship Repair Yard Project)

Ø Prepare and conduct driving of steel sheet piles up to the design depth of 1500mm below cap rock level within the perimeter of the construction site.

Ø Prepare, conduct and monitor the performance of bund stability during dewatering stage with the use of inclinometer for possible displacement of the bund and piezometer to monitor its water level and temperature along the bund.

Ø Prepare and conduct geotechnical investigations namely, drilling, coring and sampling to check the permeability of underlying strata for the construction of ship yard project.Iniate curtain wall drilling and grouting works along the perimeter of steel sheet pile.

Ø Responsible for the implementation of excavation activity along the bund and within seabed level in preparation for sub floor drainage and dock floor slab.

Ø Responsible in installation of reinforce steel bars and installation of peri forms and concreting of 2.0m dock floor slab.
