Responsible for giving inductions on occupational hygiene, health and illness to all employees and contractors
Identify, acquire and supply all necessary first aid equipments
Be available for emergency care
To manage medical records of employees, implement health and cleanliness standards, and help provide adequate physical health conditions for all
Arrange Health card of employees.
Coordinate with appointed clinic/ medical authorities for pre-amployement, periodic, return to work after illness or accident medical examinations for all employess as per companmy policy
Carry out health risk assessment
Consult with employees about occupational illness, reporatable diseases on regular bases and report to QHSE
Keep records of injuries and ilness that can be used for Occupational health risk assessment.
Ability to read prescriptions and health exams from physicians
Propose improvement plans on occupational health of employees
Responsible for implementing QP procedures on medical aid center
Actively promote a health and safety culture though use of appropriate systems, evolving technoligies and by performing those task for which they have been adequately trained and have adequate resources to complete
Actively participate in the implementation of the divisions strategy to achieve any State Government or national targetsfor QHSEMS and injury management
Actively comply with the requirements of the Departments QHSE Policy, QHSe Management system, and divisional strategies in order to achieve performance goals, objectives and targets
Actively follows work practices developed to manage risks in area of responsibility
Report any risks and/hazards
Using personal protective equipment (PPE) provided by NOWMCO and according to the organisations instructions for proper use.
Authorized to stop any activities that do not follow safe work practices
Functioning in an industrial setting as a
sole practitioners without the immediate availabilty of Physician. -assess /triage (manchester triage) patient as they present to clinic obtaining and recording history, vital signs, allergies, age, significant pre-existing medical condition, current medications, presenting complaints and history, administer medication as appropriate and obtaining clinicians telephone order, utilize SOAPE guidelines.
Fully oriented and cognizant with the treatment protocols and patient care guidelines.
Provide Emergency and medical/nursing services which include but not necessary limited to assessment, diagnosis, treatment, preventive or diagnostic health teaching, triage, pre-hospital vital life support, disaster response, and evacuation to definitive care.
Emergency Aeromedical Evacuation (MEDIVAC) of patients requiring urgent treatment.
Establish the parameters of a professional nurse and applied the patient care guidelines and treatment protocols.
Appropriate patient documentation completed and maintained for every patient
Prescribing medications for initial treatment
Provide rapid, initial stabilization, resuscitation and other life support measures ( IV insertion, oxygen initiation, suctioning and others) for significant/life threatening injuries/illnesses.
Monitoring and interpretation of common rhythm on patients with ECG monitors (VF, VT, NSR, asystole, Bradycardia, etc., )
Full operation of the following major equipments
Maintain the health and safety of patients.
