Responsible for the Overall Supervision and Management of HSE during the project executed by the Contractors

Supervise and manage Contractors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with Company and project-specific HSE requirements.

Functionally supervise Contractor and Subcontractor HSE staff and ensure the compliance with requirements of the contract.

Ensure adequate HSE visibility throughout the life of the project - screening phase to the completion phase.

Review and Approve HSE plans and procedures and monitor implementation through regular audits

Identify and cause correction of occupational safety and health hazards.

Continuously monitor site workers and others for exposure to safety or health hazardous conditions.

Alter, suspend, evacuate or terminate activities that may pose immanent safety or health danger to the workers.

Take appropriate action to mitigate or eliminate unsafe condition, operation, or hazard.

Document both safe and unsafe acts, corrective actions taken on the scene, accidents or injuries, and ways to improve safety on future incidents.

Identify hazardous situations associated with the incident. Review the Incident Action Plan (IAP) for safety implications. Exercise emergency authority to stop and prevent unsafe acts.

With full authority, gave instructions to laborers and crews in order to remove and/or relocate materials, equipment's or to rectify and maintain any hazard situation.

Advised site management the requirements and responsibilities of Company Health, Safety and Environment Policy

Prepare monthly safety report for the project and submitted to the Clients

Identify and cause correction of occupational safety and health hazards.

Participate in planning meetings.

Investigate accidents that have occurred within the incident area.

Advised site management the requirements and responsibilities of Company Health, Safety and Environment Policy
Report all accidents involving injury to persons or damage to property and other dangerous occurrences and "near misses" to the site management, immediately. Investigate all cause of such incidents and thereafter to rectify the deficiencies to prevent reoccurrence with the help


of site management. All incidents will be reported to Client Safety Dept. by phone immediately followed by a detailed report to be sent by fax.

Weekly Safety Reports to be prepared and submitted to the Site Management for onward submission to the consultants. Weekly Safety Report including Manpower, Man-hours and Incident Statistics will be submitted to Client Safety Dept.

Implement, monitor and review the HSE plan on site.

Report monthly to Project Management the HSE performance on site

Provide expert advice to Project Management.

Conduct HSE site induction and provide safe methods when required.

Conduct safety briefings and HSE meetings.

Monitor the work sites for unsafe practices and behaviors.

Check observance of the permit to work systems as required.

Conduct and take part in incident investigation.

Provide advice and take part on PPE and safety equipment.

Participate in internal HSE review and HSE site inspections and audits

Participate in risk evaluation and risk reduction.

Monitor compliance with occupational health standards and welfare arrangements.

Provided access all the time to all the production operators, production staff and execute any required job such as erecting the necessary safety measures in productions.

With full authority, gave instructions to production operators and production staff in order to remove and/or relocate materials, equipments or to rectify and maintain any hazard situation.

Advised management the requirements and responsibilities of Company Health, Safety and Environment Policy

Be aware of and keep up to date all relevant Health, Safety and Environment rules and regulations, any guidance notes and safety procedures etc. for reference and to provide or make recommendations regarding their application to the management.

Conduct workplace inspections, to ensure that safety Working methods and safety measures are in place. Rules and regulations are maintained and adhered to, with authority to introduce alternative Arrangements for improvements when applicable and if considered necessary.

Maintain and adequate system of investigation, reporting and keeping of Records of accidents, incidents and any dangerous occurrence as per regulations.

Liaise with Government inspectors, insurance companies and other Authorities, as required and reports to be submitted accordingly.

Obtain and maintain any specific items of specialist safety equipment that may require.

Assist in the production of safe system of work and procedures that may be required for specific tasks or operations.

Conduct and document the required training and safety induction for the workforce prior to joining the site.

Conduct the Tool Box Meeting (TBM) and Highlight all hazards and the Safety Issues as per progress of work. Tool Box Meeting Records will be sent to the Client.

Plan and maintain safe access to and around places of work. Establish and maintain system of security to prevent, damage, theft, and injury including periods when the work is unattended.

To ensure all plant & equipment are to be well maintained, check the suitability of the above work from time to time. Checklist for Plant & Equipment to be maintained and copies will be furnished to company's client safety dept.
To ensure that all Equipment / Machinery are operated by authorized and competent personnel

Repair all machines like tool and die, cutting press, hydraulic molding machines, packing machine, marking machine and tape and reel machine.

Prepare weekly and monthly report submitted to Equipment Manager.
