• Accountable for planning and managing the strategy for delivering the most cost effective supply chain operations.
• Responsibilities also include efficient management of warehousing operations & inventory control in the facilities to ensure that the operational process and procedures are at all times in place to meet the contractual objectives of all clients.
• Re-configuring the warehouse site to optimize layout and suit client’s product profile in a 3PL environment.
• Modifying WMS to match client’s operational requirements.
• Oversee the warehouse facility and site security
• Responsible for staff management & on-going support, training, productivity measurements and KPI’s are achieved.
• Participation in the new business to ensure that the operational requirement to service new contracts is properly evaluated and that the capability is in place to handle all new operational activities.
• Formulating the annual manpower budgeting based on clients estimated t hroughputs.
• Reviews the statistical analysis with respect to operational volumes, resource utilization and stock accuracy and recommends measures to enhance levels of performance
• Managing a team and ensuring that the logistics functions is properly managed. Training at the same time to ensure staff developed and business continuity.
• Client liaison at all levels on Operational activities
• Monitor the project and ensure timelines and agreements made with the client are adhered too with strict emphasis on quality.
• Maintain consistent stock balances by adhering to strict inventory control procedures.
• MIS / KPI Reporting: Prepare the monthly Project and Logistics Key Performance Indicators (KPI's). Analyze reports on various measurable factors against benchmarked figures
• Preparation of standard warehouse operating procedures and incorporating necessary changes as and when they arise from time to time, whilst adhering to see that these set standards are maintained by all the staff.
• Direct Supervision of all warehouses including Inbound & outbound.

• Operation of Temporary & Permanent stores in compliance with Procurement Department Operations Manual. Total stock items (General, Spare parts (Volvo, Isuzu, Toyota, Nissan, Alpine, Paurat, Komatsu, Caterpillar, Hyster) Consignment & Permanent store) 31000 Items.
• Organize training and development programs for Store section & Stock Control staff members to optimize their skills.
• Supervision and guiding of Warehouse & Stock Control personnel to ensure that they follow procedures also Stock Control functions and maintain & operate the Automatic Stock Control System for protect the integrity & reliability of stores computer records & coordinate with Computer section for technical difficulties.
• Liaise with the Finance department regarding the stock value changes against the company budget figures & other related matters.
• Controlling the movement of materials by ensuring that issuing of materials is performed according to company regulations & authorizations also follow up computer programs in order to achieve economical & relevant stock levels.
• Supervise and coordinates perpetual inventories (Yearly, Monthly & Random).
• Preparing internal & external reports on financial status, stock volumes & other related reports by using computer programs & graphics also monitors stock movements and inform users regarding excess, consumption's, surplus and obsolete materials.
