Responsibilities:
• Formulating the financial control, policies & procedures and ensuring the quality of financial information of the project
• Participating in project funding & commercial aspects of the tender procedures, preparing finance model & profile for the investment proposal, ensuring legal compliance for bank loan, etc. in consultation with advisory board
• Evaluating the Contract Agreement and the tender procedures in consultation with Project Manager
• Arranging CAR Insurance Policy for the project and assessing insurance policy of Contractors / Sub-Contractors
• Reviewing credit worthiness of the Contractors / Sub-Contractors
• Assessing payment application in compliance with contract agreement and preparing payment certificates
• Estimating project cost and monitoring & reporting the same
• Analyzing project claims and liquidating damages in compliance with terms of contract agreement & reporting
• Formulating the monthly reports
• Performing capitalization on completion of the project as per the board approval, in accordance with Vopak’s Group Policy & IFRS
• Handling accounting vouchers in JD Edwards Finance
