Companies which is now considered as the largest manufacturer of electro-forge metal gratings in the Middle East. The Company’s product portfolio includes standard gratings, shaped gratings, stair treads, and fixing clips.
Manpower workforce comprises of almost 400 factory workers and 150 office staffs.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
•Responsible for the day-to-day management of the Human Resources operations and reports directly to the General Manager and CEO in the overall implementation of company policies and procedures.
•Design and develop the Company’s employees’ manual/HR Policies and closely monitor its implementation.
•Manage the recruitment and selection process from workers category to top management.
•Analyzes wage and salary reports and data to determine competitive compensation plan.
•Consults legal counsel to ensure that policies comply with the existing UAE Labor law.
•Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward Company goals.
•Responds to employees’ inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs and advises management appropriate resolution of employee relations issues or conflicts.
•Administers performance review and training programs to ensure effectiveness, compliance and equity within organization.
•Administers benefits programs such as life, health, and dental insurance, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance.
•Investigates accidents and prepares reports for insurance claims(WCB) and coordinates Safety Committee meetings and acts as Safety Director.
•Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.
•Prepares reports and recommends procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover.
•Ensures & monitors that all recommended trainings as required are followed as per schedule for all departments.
•Short listing of Candidates, conducts orientation and discuss the offer/appointment letter as well as the Company policies to the newly hired employee/s.
•Maintains records & updates all employees’ personal file as well as monitors the validity of passports, residence visa, labor cards, Emirates ID, etc.
•Prepares the required documents of the PRO Department in Employment visa processing, New Visa Application, visa renewal, visa cancellation, reports absconding employees and other related matters.
•Prepares the required documents and related reports for Audit to maintain accreditation of ISO 9001 Quality Products Certification in accordance with Bureau Veritas Quality International (BVQI)
•Prepares Certifications, Memos, Offer Letters, and other correspondences.
•Prepares and coordinates with Accounts Department in processing request of employee with regards to salary payment, annual leave payment and final settlement.
•Arranges company provided accommodation including labor camps, transportation, ticket booking, Salik recharge, vehicle registration renewal, Gate pass and the likes.
•Other jobs may be assigned from time to time, as and when required.
