Become familiar with all the financial and contractual aspects of the Contract and advise other members of the Alghanim team as necessary to maintain a high level of “cost consciousness and contractual awareness”.
➢ Take part in the selection of Subcontractor. Prepare Letter of Intent, Subcontract and Requisition & Purchase Order in Oracle System. Making payments application for Subcontractors on monthly basis, corresponding cost related subjects and agreeing final accounts.
➢ Identify variations and ensure proper Instructions are received and given.
➢ Protect Alghanim’s contractual position in conjunction with the Project Manager in respect of necessary correspondence, information or notices.
➢ Keep record of Main Contract and Subcontractors’ bank guarantee and insurance policies. Arrange extension/cancellation as and when required.
➢ Liaise with the Construction Manager, Engineers, on a regular basis and be aware if any work on site which might have cost implications.
Coordinate with the concerned departments to ensure timely submission and obtaining the Client’s/Consultant’s approval of all Project Close Out Requirements.
➢ Cross check material deliveries against site measurements.
➢ Responsible for maintaining manpower schedule and minimizing labor cost.
➢ Sub-contractor billing and BOQ for Client Billing.
➢ Awarding the work to Contractor in Comparison to Budget.
➢ SAP. Entry and documentation of Sub-Contractor’s invoice.
