•Stock allocation, analyzing trends, generating weekly/monthly trading and supply chain reports. Coordinating with logistics team and tracking shipments from host brand / forwarder to stores.

•Validate all 3PL inbound/outbound invoices from origin to destination in order to ensure that charges are consistent with the agreed terms. Monitor shipping cost on a monthly basis.
•Conduct regular reconciliations with finance to update all booked/non booked invoices.
•Document all process flows in Express supply chain to identify gaps and further improve logistics operations.
•Reported directly to COSMETICS Division Manager. Planned and managed the ordering of new launch and replenishment stock from local and overseas clients in a timely and efficient manner to meet demand and priorities.
•Dealt with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve any disparities in ordering process. Updated new supplier and brands information in system and maintained price groups. Resolved all price and discounts discrepancies in system.
•Assisted the central procurement team in identifying new vendor base, analyzing samples, margins, prices and other related details. Coordinated meetings with new suppliers on regular basis and prepared vendor rating analysis.
•Reviewed and updated the purchase orders in central database and rectified discrepancies in orders. Controlled the status of overall spends against budgeted profiles. Foresaw and endorsed the appropriate monthly products mix for optimal profitability. Controlled the ongoing invoicing & shipment details with suppliers, freight forwarders & Shipping department.

•Coordinated with stores on a daily basis on availability of best sellers at all times. Analyzed the stock and coordinated with suppliers in liquidating slow moving stock. Initiated internal stock transfer between stores to maintain right stock and reduce purchases. Performed inventory analysis and took necessary actions against stock ageing.
•Held meetings with suppliers on a regular basis. Updated new supplier’s details in supplier database.

•As a Shift Supervisor, I was responsible to ensuring that production targets were met. My job involved the use of Unix operating system (Solaris & Sun OS ), various proprietary transcription and tape copy software such as Rapport, M5u. Generating NTG plots for the transcribed data, daily backup, maintaining peripherals such as DLT drives, magnetic tape drives, printers etc.
