• Preparing of monthly sales reports for Singapore and Malaysia retail stores which facilitated effective control over monthly revenue, amounts receivable and sales refunds.
• Recording of Invoices, Journal Entries and maintaining Ledger accounts of all types using the company’s bespoke accounting software.
• Performing monthly reconciliations for bank and supplier accounts of U.A.E and other G.C.C regions.
Identified issues with the account reconciliation process and proactively introduced new processes for the effective reconciliation of supplier and bank accounts.
• Maintaining control of the Fixed Assets Map for multiple entities within the company.
• Verification and accounting of weekly payments being made to vendors, customers and related parties.
• Validation and accounting of petty cash and cash expenses for the office and retail stores.
• Assisting in preparation of monthly trial balances, analysing them and making necessary adjustments.
• Assisting in preparation of financial statements for the company in line with IFRS.
• Preparing for and liaising with the auditors during the financial audit process; notifying and providing recommendations to the management on areas of non - compliance.
