•Managing the buying and delivery process of goods as per set deadlines
•Sourcing new suppliers, comparing and evaluating quotations to choose the best quality products at the lowest price
•Negotiating rates to increase business revenue
•Tracking orders to ensure timely delivery
•Following up with the Finance Department to prepare payments and make sure suppliers accounts are well reconciled
•Posting supplier’s invoices and returns in the system, controlling the transfers between locations and adjusting stock (waste, promotion, staff meal, damaged items…) as per company’s policy
•Monitoring stock levels to ensure proper / sufficient storage
•Managing a small warehouse and dispatching stock as per branches need
•Controlling monthly inventories, analyzing the discrepancies and overseeing stock levels to maximize efficiency
•Submitting weekly/monthly reports to management after analyzing transactions, cost, margins and other financial data

•Coordinate with the buyers once Performa invoice received and intervene in case any incoterm or payment term negotiated with the supplier is not within the company policy
•Book and process shipments with the freight forwarder (Import, Export, Cross shipments) determine the appropriate mode of transportation (sea, air, truck) by analyzing the urgency of the shipment and cost
•Follow up the supplier’s payment with the accounting department to make sure the shipment won’t be delayed due to any pending transfer …
•Opening LCs for Dubai orders. start negotiation with supplier along with our bank in Dubai to proceed with the LC.
•Follow up with the suppliers to make sure order is delivered on time to the foreign forwarder and inform the concerned department in case of any delay
•Shipments follow up (ETD / ETA / clearance etc...)
•Follow up the original documents of each shipment and in case not delivered with the goods make sure to send them to the clearing agent (especially when payment terms is LC)
•Meet delivery deadlines and adapt the shipping operations to urgencies
•Record shipment data in the system (NAVISION) such as volume, weight, charge Invoices, ETD ETA etc.…
•Follow up with our brokers for Dubai and Lebanon shipment to clear the shipment.
•Coordinate with the warehouse once shipment cleared and ready for space availability
•Follow up the shipments of garments related to the winter and summer collections and get in contact with all the parties in order to receive the collection on time and update all information (delivery date, status, opening of the LCs etc.…)
•Audit the freight and clearing invoices and make sure it matches the rate provided by the forwarders
•Follow up FOOD shipments and make sure that custom clearance is going smooth on it and follow up all the steps with the clearing agent (IRI, Analyses, Ministry of health, Ministry of Economy etc.…)
•In case of any pledge follow up the problem with the store and provide the ministry the correct documents or any action needed.
•Doing comparative (price, route, shipping line, transshipment etc.…)
•Get in contact with several forwarders to have the best rate for export
•Issue export commercial documents (Sales Invoice, packing List)
•Define incoterm and all terms of export shipment
•Raising claims to supplier or insurance company and following up with related parties till settlement of the claim
