As a Claims Processor:
1. Receives, registers and handles claims transactions for TMD.
2. Recommends assignment to surveyor if necessary.

4. Follow-ups submission of claim documents and other support documents for review and evaluation of the claims.
5. Verify policy details (endorsements/coverage/payment) through computer or Underwriting Policy File and print the corresponding Report of Claim, Verification and Assignment Slips.
6. Prepares Preliminary Loss Advice/Final Loss Advice for reinsurers.
7. Prepare Internal Large Loss Advice for claims exceeding PHP 100, 000.00 for the information of the Claims Committee. Prepares Major Loss Report for claims exceeding PHP15, 000, 000.00 for the information of TMAsia / TMCSA.
8. Evaluates and recommends claims subject to the approval of the Unit Head / Department Head or the appropriate approving office or body. This includes review of the claim documents submitted, the report of the adjusters/surveyors and the policy provisions to determine compensability of the claim and make necessary recommendation to the Unit Head on whether to settle or deny the claim.
9. Attend to inquires and follow up by claimants, their representatives, agents/brokers &/or account executives regarding the status of a claim.
10. Prepare and send letters to claimants to follow up documents and to adjusters to follow up reports and status of the claim.
11. Assist the Unit Head in the review of monthly outstanding losses and paid losses for submission to Accounting and Underwriting Departments.
12. Prepare monthly status reports of all outstanding Marine claims five (5) days before the scheduled Mancom meeting.
13. Prepares and maintains claims files.
14. Prepares Claim Check Voucher, Loss Cards, Loss Approval Slip and Request for Issuance of Check and forward same to the authorized signatories.
15. Process survey and adjuster's fee upon receipt of bills.
16. Performs other related duties as may be assigned by immediate superior

As a Recovery Assistant:
1. Assist Asset Recovery and Management / Recovery Lawyers in all aspects of claims salvage and recovery.
2. Request opinion on problem claims for unit such as Underwriting Department, Legal Department, or individual adjusters/ division head for resolution.

4. Provide Recovery Lawyers requested documents.
5. Process Professional Fees and other fees related.
