I am Senior Manager of the Digital & Innovation team with focus on the Telecom & Media Industry. My role includes Sales & Delivery of new digital service to Accenture clients. I have been part of the sales team of a 2-digit million OTT Video solution for a major cable operator. I am currently delivering the solution and my responsibilities have been:
Contract negotiation (technical annexes), generation of Scope of Work and Functional Design.
Process definition (provisioning, EPG load, etc.)
Build the operations team
I was responsible for the identification of new opportunities under the responsibility of the Carrier Software department (Consumer Segment) and the subsequent delivery of the proposals including functional and technical specifications.
I led the team responsible for the RCS-e (Rich Communication Suite) breakthrough in Telefónica Group. I defined the functional and technical specification of the EUCR application and the multi-device feature on the top of the IMS network, and the RCS-e API for capability exposure by leveraging Huawei's NGIN
I defined solutions over the top of Telefónica's SDP (Service Delivery Platform) for around EUR 2M in 2011.
I supported a number of account teams across Europe in the promotion of Huawei's portfolio (Consumer Segment).
I was responsible of presales activities which added SDP & RCS opportunities to several account teams´ pipelines: RomTelecom, Cosmote, Optimus, DT Croatia, and Belgacom
I was part of the 6-people team that produced the recommendation to Huawei's HQ (Software Company) about the strategy in the Consumer Market for 2012-2015
I was the technical leader of NSN's responses to RFx process in the MEA (Middle East and Africa) region. Besides, my mission was to improve NSN's brand in the SDP arena by disseminating the benefits of the solution (workshops, etc.).
I consolidated the portfolio of low cost solutions in the area of BSS and SDP for NSN´s clients in MEA region.
I decisively contributed to help NSN be considered as a key player in the SDP arena in MEA.
75% devoted to project delivery and 25% to presales and business development activities I technically led a number of projects in the Consulting & High Technology organization in Accenture.
I successful delivered multi-million SDP projects for tier-1 operators in Europe, Africa and America. Examples:
i. Telmex SDP: 46% margin. The project consisted of designing and deploying a SDP to support Triple Play services: pre-IMS & IMS voice services, IPTV and Internet services.
ii. MTN SDP: 2008 African Cup of Football applications delivered on time in less than 6 weeks.
iii. Vodafone 360: technical responsible of the Accenture team who delivered the functional design of the Vodafone 360 proposition
I leaded the technical responses to RFI and RFQ docs of Telefónica LATAM SDP (shortlisted)
I dramatically improved the Telco practice in the Mexican Office.
I successfully promoted and disseminated the Accenture´s portfolio (Telecom Networks Service Line) in the following Accenture regions: Spain, Portugal, Latin America and South Africa.
Technology researcher responsible for identifying and testing new technologies with the potential bring new revenue streams to Vodafone in the long term.
I was the technical responsible of the first Pan-European network to test Parlay technology in roaming. The project, funded by the EU, was a successfully delivered and presented to the European Commission.
I promoted Semantic Web technologies within Vodafone and got budget to launch a proof of concept sponsored by Vodafone Group.
Engagement and/or responsibility for the feasibility study, design, development, testing and deployment of IN services:
Services successfully launched: QTal (VPN for the residential market), roamers helper, credit limitation, etc.
I released the first proof of concept showing the integration of legacy IN (e.g. Prepaid) & IP services.
