• Ensure works are carried out as per contract drawings and specifications.
• Maintain records, site diary, and quality assurance documentation.
• Provides as built drawings.
• Assists Engineering Department for review of drawings.
• Assists and have responsibility for Health and Safety matters on site.
• Communicate with the site manager and the rest of site team and assists organizing the site which include materials, forecasting materials, plant and equipment, and sub-contract management.
• Be able to attend meetings with the client, consultant, and inspectors.
• Be a point of contact and assists with the progression of works and carry out any inspections required.
• Assists with inputting information/ duration to program of works.
• Assist the Construction Manager based on his policies.
• Person responsible for the work areas and sections appointed by Construction Manager.
• Explain the situation/ results of construction works to Construction Manager, taking quality, balance of payments, terms of works and security into consideration.
• Ensure construction works progress smoothly in the work areas in coordination/ communication with parties of other work areas/ sections.
• Prepare work schedule as a daily management guideline and having a meeting with Junior Construction Engineer to give instructions.
• Check the work schedule procedures and have a meeting with Junior Construction Engineer to give instructions and ensure that the construction will be advanced.
• Report matters of concern with regards to the works to Construction Manager, if any.
• Draw up a work schedule chart for the scope of own duty.
• Determine the quantity of works done in cooperation with Engineering Department and ask them to issue bills to Employer.
• Such other duties and responsibilities as directed, from time to time, by the Employer’s Representative and Section Manager.
Responsible for Basement Carpark, Mosque, Apartment Buildings overall finishing works including back of houses.
Execute works in accordance to Project Specification, Approved Shop Drawings and does not deviate from IFC Drawings.
Ensure highest standard of quality is achieved accordingly.
Conducts pre-inspection prior to raise Contractors Request for inspection.
Initiates Inspection Requests to Consultant for Civil and Architectural works.
Responsible for snagging, de-snagging and JSI/ NCR’s Closure.
Prepares Method Statement, ITP and Checklist.
Assists in preparation of QCDD pertinent documents and attends inspection.
Responsible for assessment and evaluation of sub-contractor’s workmanship and accomplishment.
Monitor and report progress of site on a daily / weekly basis and workers allocation.
Monitoring of actual accomplishment of the project and shares data to Planning Department.
Evaluates and reports Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
Prepares estimates for site’s variation and change orders.

Immediately informs the Safety Engineer of any significant accidents of near misses in line with the Project Safety Plan and ensures health, safety and environment policy is followed on site always.
