Appraising staff performance and also taking disciplinary measures when required
= Handling Import & Export Shipments Including Legalizations, Rates Fixing & Negotiations with Shipping Companies.
= Organize vehicles/drivers according to project/Office requirements as per the daily schedule.
= Co-ordinate with internal departments for the delivery of materials to different project sites as well collection of materials from suppliers/sites. Liaising with site supervisors regarding delivery times etc.
= Monitor the vehicle movement and ensure that they arrive at the planned destinations on time according to schedule.
= Maintaining records/ history of drivers, accidents and service of vehicles and dispatch deliveries.
= Coordinate with purchase department and external clearing agent for documentation, clearing and dispatch of shipments. Raise the PR for the department / site requirements. Follow up with Procurement.
= Dealing all accounts related activities for the department including handling of Petty Cash, monthly submission of supplier’s invoices.
= Keep track on company salik account and car registration to avoid any fines. Arrange road permits.
= Monitor and track the GPS system installed in each vehicle.
= Fuel management.
= Maintain up to date information in vehicle master files, tracking sheets, periodic service files, time sheets etc.
= Participated in tender negotiation.
= Preparation of purchase orders and contracts.
= Conducted market survey.
= Keep track on requisition status and other contract orders.
= Resolve shortages/ missed deliveries and other issues.
= Compare suppliers' bills with bids and purchase orders in order to verify accuracy.
= Ensure flow of payment to suppliers to be paid as promised.
= Responsible for all of the Dispatching, Routing, and Tracking of Delivery Vehicles.
= Monitor delivery schedules and coordinate with operators to ensure on-time delivery.
= Identifying operational issues, potential problems and opportunities.
= Appraising staff performance and also taking disciplinary measures when required.
= Attend to and follow-up on customers’ inquiries and requests.
= Fulfill any other tasks as and when assigned by the superior.
