 Developed a high performance composite bonnet for a large automotive company to replace existing metal design

 Numerical modelling skills improved by developing mathematical models in Excel to solve complex engineering problems more efficiently

• Achievements Include:
 Developed business strategy to expand NCCs testing capability to match demands in the aerospace industry
 Achieved capability enhancement of the NCC with a 10, 000 GBP saving on procurement of testing equipment
 Strategic planning and delivery of a project involving the development of an aero-engine blade using an advanced
manufacturing technique known as Vacuum Assisted Resin Transfer Moulding (VRTM)
 Developed unique FE model using ABAQUS CAE for simulating the manufacture of the world first composite fan
blade for a large aero engine manufacturer using Automated Fibre Placement (AFP) process
 Developed a FE model for one of the world’s largest aircraft manufacturers that simulated out of clave manufacturing
processes for a composite wing box structure
