Research Accounting:
Monitors grants/funds received from QNRF(Qatar National Research Fund)
Manages monthly financial status reports as required by Project Investigators (PI) for UREP and NPRP projects
Coordinates and reconciles research financials reports maintained at the Calgary main campus for QNRF(Qatar National Research Fund) reporting
Reviews research expense claims and issues compliance certificates for payment of research related expenditures
General Ledger (GL) Accounting:
Provides financial reports to the Director, Finance (Balance Sheet Analyses, Bank Reconciliations, Foreign Exchange Translation Adjustments)
Acts as finance support staff while AP officer, AR coordinator, PO Officer and Receiving clerk are away or on holidays
Supports faculty and trains faculty/research admin assistants in the submission and coordination of PeopleSoft expense reports
