• Direct supervision of Site Engineers.
• Exercising Safety, Quality and Productivity in order of priority.
• Monitor daily and weekly site progress and initiate corrective steps if required to ensure Program Dates and Milestones are achieved.
• Advance planning of the site works based on One month look-ahead programme to ensure target dates are met.
• Prepare and follow-up RFI’s with the consultants. Liaise with the Consultant for clarification and resolution of queries.
• Keeping track of Shop Drawing status, Material approval, Material delivery, Manpower Productivity, tools and equipment and Site Progress which are vital in the completion of the works. Resolving any issues which affects and will cause future delay of the works.
• Ensure coordination among various trades on-site including Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing and Architectural trades, to avoid conflict.
• Attending site coordination meetings and Client Meetings.
• Notify Project Manager of major changes and variations to drawings, BOQ & specifications.
This period covers the Projects that I have completed such as Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR-01), Tiara Palm Jumeirah and Palazzo Versace Projects:
Duties and Responsibilities include:
• Management of Site Construction Activities.
• Exercising Safety, Quality and Productivity in order of priority
• Managing Fit-out Packages such as Stone, Carpentry, Joinery, Parquetry, Glazing, Vanity, Mirror, Stone Bench top, Plasterboard and Painting.
• Successfully completed and handed-over multiple Apartment mock-up units for 2, 3, 4 Bedroom Simplex Units, 1 No. Duplex Unit and 1 No. Hotel Mock-up Unit for Palazzo Versace.
• Was first assigned to supervise slip-form activities for 21-nos (15-storey each) core-wall and stair-wall for Tiara Palm Jumeirah Projects. Completed Slipform activities on time and as per Programme.
• After completion of civil works, was assigned to supervise Architectural/Finishing works for 15- storey Residential Buildings having 3-Site Engineers under direct supervision.
• Successfully completed and rectified all Interior Finishes Snaglists on time which is required for Client Handing-Over and thus avoiding penalty and liquidated damages for Tiara Palm Jumeirah Projects.
• Responsible for ordering deformed steel using STEELPAC SITE Software.
• Able to complete the civil works a month early which made cost savings to tower crane usage and rental costs. Typical floor casting of 8 days cycle was reduced to 6 days cycle due to proper and systematic supervision for JBR 01 Projects.
• Successfully handed-over all the flats after architectural finishes snagging for JBR 01 Projects.
